Cosy house in a nature valley

Pros: Great location for hikers. Fully equipped kitchen with a lovely outdoor kitchen and garden with herbs. Very comfortable beds - memory foam pillows. Great sleep. Pergola gives a chance to enjoy outdoors even when it's raining. Lot of options on TV and very comfortable sofa.

Cons: Shower pressure was not good, but could still use it. Coffee table would be great for the couch.

Pros: The house is cozy yet spacious, very modern with everything you need.

Pros: Property is very traditional and set in a very quiet location with quick access to the airport and great walks. Fabio is just the best host, he was very communicative, provided excellent information and recommendations, he was very helpful and kind.

Mountain house

Pros: The location was perfect for the last few days of things we wanted to do in Madeira. Plenty of space in this little house😊 Got everything like at home🙂

We felt very welcome and taken care off by the host.

Pros: The private parking spot is a huge pluss. Although the dogs were barking and the rooster was singing during the day, it was quiet during the night. I slept very well :) Yes, there were ants and some mosquitoes, but it did not bother us much maybe in summer time it is a different story.

Lovely cozy chalet

Pros: Fabio's home was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed the calm of the surroundings and the beautiful view, we made great use of the bbq and enjoyed every day breakfast and dinner on the equipped terrace. The kitchen and the house had everything you need and also very good wifi. It's close enough to Machico (less than 10 mins drive) and to a few levada walks, but still making you feel in the middle of the countryside. Fabio is responsive and very kind. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home :)

Cons: The bed of the smaller room was quite small for 2 people (we were 2 couples), but still fine for a few days.

Pros: Well maintained and cosy house with all the necessary amenities in the beautiful and calm rural area. Comfy beds. The outdoor bbq space and the patio with hammock we liked the best :)

Cons: It is just a suggestion not a claim : it would be perfect to eliminate ants in the kitchen area and flies in the house prior to the arrival of guests. But it was not a big problem for us - there was an insect killer spray and we did it ourselves.

Pros: The house was beautifully renovated and very cozy. Also it is located a bit hidden and on a ridge, so very private and with a nice view from the terrace. A nice plus was the garden of fresh herbs to cook with. Our host Fábio was really caring and welcoming. All facilities were there to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Cons: Because of the mosquitos, it was not always comfortable to open the windows. The owners have foreseen an effective tool to kill them, but as the house can get warm with sunny weather, we would recommend maybe a ventilator for the bedroom to avoid sleeping with open windows as mosquitos come in.

ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL

Pros: Absolutely sensational! The accommodation was in keeping with the island, a gorgeous house situated at the foot of a hill overlooking the valley. The interior is beautifully arranged down to the smallest details. Neat, clean, recently renovated with good taste, when you return home in the evening after a day of wandering, drink a glass of wine and make a barbecue in the marked silence of the area. You can also leave the car, because the house is at the end of a street that ends. Thank you Fabio for everything you and your brother have offered us and for guiding us when we needed it!
