Casa Pão - 5 mins from Machico centre with private parking

Pros: Very helpful and pleasant hostess, highly engaged about the well-being of her guests!!! Always giving professional advices and information about actual activities. The hostess showed real concern and gave advices for our walks on the days with bad weather.

Cons: Nothing special negative to note.

Pros: We stayed in this apartment in Machico for 11 nights as a family of three (with a teenager), and we absolutely loved it! The place is spacious, modern, and very comfortable — it could easily accommodate up to 6 people. Everything is new and fully equipped: a large kitchen, a dining area, a cozy living room with a sofa and TV, a terrace, and even private parking right at the door. The location is peaceful and quiet at night, as it’s not in the very center, but all the essentials — shops, restaurants, the beach — are just a short walk away. A special thank you to the wonderful host: she was always available, warmly welcomed us, treated us to local bread, and was ready to help with anything (though we had zero issues during our stay). Also, the neighbors around are very friendly, which added to the overall great atmosphere. We highly recommend this place!

Pros: I was very happy with my stay at Casa Pão. We arrived after midnight and the owner Joana welcomed us in person. The apartment was spotless, spacious and filled with everything we needed. We were left with a complimentary bottle of wine and biscuits which was extremely thoughtful! The apartment was in a nice quiet location, but also a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. The bedrooms had fans which was perfect for when it got warm at night. Joana provided us with recommendations to eat and shop which was very helpful. We hired a car for a couple of days and were able to park outside the apartment in a private space. Highly recommend!

Pros: The host is a super star . She's very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time in Machico with Casa Pao stay . House was spotless , specious, and comfortable. Kitchen with all essentials and super clean. Beds and bedding were cleaned and fresh . We also had amazing mountain views.. We will go back to Casa Pao . Highly recommend place to stay 👌. Madeira is beautiful and magical to have a wonderful holiday . Thank you for having us. See you soon 😊

Pros: The property is new very comfortable and excellent location . Comfortable beds and very quiet at night . The warm welcome we had from the host family made us feel truly welcomed. We felt like part of the family. Strongly recommend if you looking for a quiet place to relax but close to main attractions.

Cons: Exceed all my expectations. So def nothing to say.

Pros: Everything was just perfect. The house was clean and spaceous, it was very cosy. We had everything we needed. But above all, we appreciated the hospitality, Joana and her family were very kind and helpful.

Extremely welcoming and super convenient.

Pros: Casa Pao was perfect for 2 friends on a walking holiday. 2 minute walk to the bakery, 5 minute walk to a big supermarket with fantastic seafood, and 5 minute walk to the bus station for transfers to Porto da Cruz and Ponta de Sao Lourenco. The seafront and town centre is just 10-15 minute walk. Great cooking facilities and both a dining room and small outside eating area. Joana is a fantastic host and went out of her way to help us with information prior to, and during our stay. Her whole family were so welcoming! The accommodation was absolutely spotless.

Cons: If it had been any hotter, I personally would have struggled with no air conditioning - Joana has provided electric fans and they did just the job.

Pros: Świetna lokalizacja. W mieszkaniu jest wszystko co potrzeba. Joana jest bardzo miła i pomocna. Naprawdę polecam pobyt w tym miejscu

Pros: Posizione ottima per visitare tutta l’isola. Struttura molto ampia e Joana, la proprietaria, molto gentile e accogliente

Cons: Ambiente leggermente umido (probabilmente a causa della pioggia di alcuni giorni) e con presenza di insetti (proprio a causa dell’umidità dell’ambiente)

Pros: Joana war eine super liebe Gastgeberin und die Kommunikation mit ihr verlief sehr einfach, die Lage ist gut, Strand, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar, es gibt einen Parkplatz und die Wohnung ist mit allen Nötigen ausgestattet
