Genuine review from family of four

Pros: I was a bit skeptical about this place reading the recent reviews but we really enjoyed our stay. The place is very space and has everything you need for a longer stay (washing machine, iron, dishwasher, vacuum) some reviews said the house was very humid, but I think they have installed a dehumidifier recently so the house itself felt absolutely fine. There was definitely a smell though. Because of where the property is on the island most evenings we had cloud/rain so had to try drying clothes indoors which took a while. Booking was really easy and this place is great value for money. I tried emailing the host to begin with but didn't get a response, but she replied almost instantly through WhatsApp which was great. When we arrived, they had forgotten to set up a cot but as soon as I told her, someone came round within 30 mins to put one up for us. The views from the balcony are beautiful.

Cons: The smell, you can see patches of damp/mould/peeling paint on some of the walls/ceilings. There was always ants and other bugs in the house, as well as lizards. One night when I went to get into bed there was actually a lizard in the bed which definitely made me jump! It is a bit of a drive up to the house,which always adds an extra 10 mins or so to any journey your doing. I'd say the views are worth it.

Great view! Nice place to relax with family or friends.

Pros: The view from the terrace was amazing! You could watch sunset every day, the house is very spaciouse, the kitchen is very well equipped. The ride to the house is a bit steep, but the view is worth it! It's a nice place to chill and relax.

Cons: It's a huge house so they struggle with the humidity. You could smell it more on the top floor.

best accommodation this side of the island

Pros: superb view, peaceful and quiet location, a lot of space, has everything you need, clean

Cons: not necessarily a bad thing but worth noting this is a remote location, you will need a car

Pros: very nice and cozy place, big rooms and nice terrace with the view tothe ocean, kitchen fully equipped

Cons: High humidity in the house and a bit of smell

Perfecto

Pros: Todo estaba genial,las vistas fantásticas y respeto para nosotros la ubicación. La casa lo tenía todo perfecto, limpieza, utensilio de cocina, comodidad y amplitud.

Cons: Lo que menos el olor a umedad a un estando el umificador, pero eso lo notabas en el momento que venias de la calle, cuando llevas un rato en la casa ni lo notas, y a parte las camas para nosotros incómodas son de muelle y los notabas a parte de las almohadas, a si que no descansabamos bien.

Gerne wieder

Pros: Die schöne Lage auf dem Berg. (Für Fahranfänger vielleicht nicht das beste ;)) Check in und Check out durch key safe, was ich persönlich sehr mag, dann ist man zeitlich unabhängig. Parkplatz vor der Tür bzw direkt neben dem Haus. Eine schöne große offene Wohnung mit einer gut eingerichteten Küche. Blick direkt aufs Meer Ich würde diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen

Cons: Keine Kritik, aber wir hatten Sturm, da war es etwas laut. Aber da kann die Unterkunft ja nichts dafür. Haben alles gesichert, was wegfliegen könnte und schon war alles wieder super. :)

Séjour très agréable dans un environnement superbe.

Pros: Grande maison avec beaucoup d’espace. Plusieurs terrasses extérieures permettent de profiter des couchés de soleil exceptionnels sur la mer. Maison très bien équipées.
