Simply wonderful

Pros: Wonderful accommodation with a panoramic view for those who enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of nature. Levada hiking trail just around the corner, a veranda to relax and a cosy house. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!

Pool under the stars and a wonderful view

Pros: The pool was great and nature was unbelievably beautiful. You can see the milky way from the backyard.

Cons: The drive up to the house can be confusing and dangerous BUT as long as you follow the instructions of the owner properly(which we didn't follow because we stupidly forgot) you'll be totally fine.

Our week-long stay in the cottage on Madeira was absolutely perfect – a peaceful location, great weather, excellent serv

Pros: We had a fantastic stay! The location was both interesting and convenient, offering wonderful views all around. The house was well-equipped and very comfortable, with everything we needed. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was excellent – very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Cons: We really can’t point out any shortcomings. It was a truly enjoyable stay! 10/10

Lovely stay

Pros: Apartment was perfect for what we needed views were amazing and access to small pool was a bonus. Extremely clean and great value for money. Good location for travelling around the island never too far from anywhere. Between riberia brava and ponta dol sol (15 mins drive to each)

Cons: The drive to and down from the property is extremely steep I wouldn’t recommend if you are a nervous driver as will need to do this multiple times a day you aren’t really in walking distance of anywhere.

Charming place

Pros: A charming and welcoming place for those whose emphasis is on nature rather than luxury. The swimming pool was big enough to swim in circles :) The blooming gardens were a real pleasure and the scenery was fantastic. Exceptionally clean with all we needed. The access by car was a little challenging but became part of the charm of Casas Tipicas Lovely helpful and welcoming hosts. Thank you to Leo and Amnon
