Highly enjoyable stay in a lovely property in a great location with an attentive host

Pros: Excellent property in a great central location for exploring the island. Spacious house with private parking in a quiet residential area. The host Juan met us for check in, was polite and helpful. He bought us fresh fruit, wine and a local spirit as a welcome gift, and a homemade honey cake as a parting gift as well. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay for more than just a few days.

Pros: The owner handed us the keys after showing us around the property and answering all our questions. The location is superb and easy to access, very quiet with a great view. The Jacuzzi was a nice touch, the kids enjoyed it. There is a nice garden in front of the location that can be used and enough room to park the car privately. The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice to have a separate toilet for the kids.

Cons: There were no mosquito nets at the windows so we had to be careful in the evening when we left the lights on.

Amazing place to enjoy the island life!

Pros: The location was perfect, just a short 5 minute drive from Ponta do Sol beach. The property is very beautiful and well kept and the house was absolutely pristine. The hosts offered us some wine, liquor and fresh fruit from the island and also bolo de mel as a parting gift. We even had the visit of a few sweet kittens who we promptly named Poncha, Nikita, Lapa and Dentinho ;)

Cons: Maybe the beds could be a bit more comfortable, but everything else was so great that we didn't mind.

Wonderful house

Pros: Spacious house with a wonderfull view from the living room and terrace. The host was very nice. The house is situated in a quiet area. The garden is beatiful, a lot of banana plantages. BBQ is available, the hot tub is wonderful with a stunning view.

Spacious stay with the nice owners and personal touch

Pros: Very good and spacious property in a nice location and with a very nice garden. Juan who was taking care of us was super nice, we got the welcoming and checking out gift and fruits basket. It is also a very convenient location to explore the island but stay out of the city buzz.

Wonderful stay

Pros: Great location, easily accessible to the rest of the island. Spacious accomodation. Hot tub was incredible under the stars and moon. Catia was very welcoming.

Pros: Everything was very good, the house is big enough, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The garden was nice and big, also the parking place. Nice view to the sea. We were very satisfied.

Cons: It was a little cold in the house due to the changeable weather. There was a fireplace, where we could make a fire in the evening, but the nights were cold.

Pros: Location is top! we loved being there, since we could move easily around the island's forest and levadas House is amazingly big and was spotless with all what u might need at your disposal. Great sea views from any of the terraces of the house. To be able to enjoy the Jacuzzi under the moon was a lovely extra :) We got twice a basket with delicious ripe fruit for free and they come to make the fence extra secure for our little four leg friend, just in case as the host said. ;) They gave us a sweet cake at time of departure. Can u ask for more ? We dont think so!

Spacious house with a stunning view sourrounded by banana plantages

Pros: Wondeful and spacious house with a stunning view from the living room and the terraces surrounded by banana plantages. Catia and Juan have been super nice hosts, we got some welcome wine and farewell cake and also gave us some great advice where to get wonderful seafood close by. The house is situated in a quiet local neighbourhood, at the street there is sometimes a bit of traffic but it is not a main road so not bothering. The garden is beautiful and has different seating areas, a small child area and herbs, tomatoes, salad and strawberries are growing there which can be used. BBQ is available, the hot tub was wonderful with a stunning view.
