Pros: Absolutely gorgeous property much better than pics with sea view one side and mountains the other, stunning picture windows at back of house and two balconies with gorgeous views. The games room is fabulous & family loved it. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious with lots of room for us. Pool lovely though not heated. Nice garden & patio area. Parking space useful off road. Great location for us 10 mins drive from Funchal. Local bar in walking distance at top of hill.

Cons: Very cold at night and no spare bedding or blankets. Kitchen would get absolutely covered in ants including inside dishwasher and only a very toxic spray provided (not even for killing ants but other insects) which I didn’t want to use where my kids were eating! I did complain about this but nothing was done. Literally couldn’t leave anything open on side so lots of cereal/biscuits etc went damp in fridge. Couldn’t even have 5 mins relaxing after dinner as they’d be all over the dishes. Wi-Fi signal intermittent. Bit of noise from road outside but I sleep with earplugs so not a problem for me. Had to buy bin bags, salt, pepper, oil, dishwasher tablets foil & cling film to wrap food & although I understand this is guest responsibility it adds a lot to the cost and means you waste them as can’t take all that home - providing these plus extra blankets & ant traps would make this property a 10/10.

An amazing place to stay

Pros: The villa is bigger and nicer than in the pictures with plenty of space. It is tastefully decorated and has plenty of amenities. The pool is a decent size. Staff are friendly and efficient. Easy to get to anywhere as the motorway is near. A shopping mall is also a 5 min drive away.

Cons: The street is pretty busy and it can be noisy at night. A heated pool would have been even better and parts of the decorations and paintings are starting to age. The car space is a bit narrow as is the street as cars park there. The above are minor points and we would happily stay again.

Cons: Location a bit noisy next to banana factory and hospital being built.

Pros: Ausstattung wie beschrieben, der Pool war gut, Billard und Tischfussball wurde mehrfach genutzt. Handtücher mehrfach vorhanden

Cons: Reinigung nicht überall perfekt. Kaffeeflecken noch auf Geschirr vorhanden und Badezimmer nicht sauber. Wasserdruck Dusche mäßig. Größtes Problem war die Ameisenplage in Küche, teilweise sogar im Backofen und Außenbereich. Kommunikation mit der Agentur verlief müßig, antworten kamen spät oder gar nicht.

Cons: Les chambres donnant sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes

Pros: La villa est superbe, très propre et avec tous les équipements qu’il faut. La piscine aussi était très bien et propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées et les serviettes sont à disposition comme à l’hôtel. On a aussi eu un ménage de mi séjour sur la semaine. La villa est de très belle qualité et la décoration est très soignée. Bravo il y a tout et même plus!

Cons: Malheureusement l’environnement est un peu bruyant le matin, avec la circulation de l’usine et on a dormi fenêtre ouverte car il faisait chaud... ça n’a pas été un problème pour nous.

Buena opción con oferta

Pros: Chalet de dos plantas + garaje utilizado para ocio, teniendo que dejar el coche aparcado en la rampa de acceso. Es muy amplio, agradable, limpio y bien equipado. Cerca de centro comercial grande y de vías principales de comunicación. Muy buen sitio para conocer Madeira si consigues alguna oferta con buen precio.

Pros: la maison était super agréable, très bien équipée. beaucoup d espace. la partie extérieure bien aménagée . piscine hyper propre . hypermarché tout près avec voiture.

Cons: un peu éloigné de Funchal . préférable d avoir la voiture malgré le système de bus qu on n a pas testé. un peu bruyant certains jours (camions de livraisons juste à côté)
