Pros: Cozy house with around 30 min walking distance to the harbour. It's a good option for two to three people. The kitchen equipment smelled mould-ish, but there was non visible.

Pros: Nice house away from crowds, yet close to the town (about 20 minutes walk). Communication with the host was very fast.

Pros: Very good location, remote from the big road. No noise, calm place to stay. Equipped with everything you need, hair dryer, kitchen stuff, television, microwave, induction cooker.

Perfect family holiday house in a quiet location

Pros: We liked the village and the quiet location of the house. It is a fairly new house and a good build. It was perfect for us, a family of four. The owner was very welcoming. We were allowed to have fresh fruit and vegetables from the owner's garden! We hired a car for our stay. So, the parking was very handy. We will strongly recommend it.

Cons: The downstairs sofa is placed under the stairs. My son's head bumped into the stairs when he was getting up from the sofa. It is a bit of a hazard. The shower water wasn't draining out quickly, something needs looking at.

Lovely base for Porto da Cruz

Pros: Perfect location; short and enjoyable walk along the beach to Porto da Cruz. Car parking space. Comfortable and clean house. Basic accommodation but has everything you need and a great base. Really beautiful location.

Pros: Very nice small house with new modern equipment. I liked the quite location and views of the green forests. Quite a steep driveway but manageable.

Pros: Excellent place, newly build or renovated. Pictures do not show how nice it is. Quiet location in a green valley, close to a nice beach.

Cons: Bedroom on the upper floor a bit too small for 4 adults, just one small window for ventilation. Also the beds should be wider for 2 adults to sleep comfortably.

Pros: A lovely house in a great location, the house has good facilities for a self catering stay. It overlooks cultivated slopes on the other side of the valley, in a lovely rural setting. The beds are so comfortable and we slept really well, but expect the morning sounds of local wildlife. There is a lovely sunny spot to sit in the morning and eat breakfast with an amazing view

Cons: Nothing we didn't like,but we found the stove top a little tricky to use,and had a few problems with one of the rings, but it was adequate. There is no oven though, so having use of the outdoor barbeque is useful.
