Mateus House - Porto da Cruz Center

Pros: We loved this property - so well equipped and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The terrace is fantastic. The location has a buzz during the day and is quiet at night. There is a surf break nearby to watch and some lovely walks. Would very much recommend staying at Mateus House

Pros: The location is absolutely perfect! 😍 Nestled in nature in the beautiful and peaceful northeast of Madeira, just a 15-minute drive from the airport. The house itself is modern, stylish and comes with a private rooftop terrace offering a stunning view. The owner welcomed us personally and was incredibly friendly and hospitable. He had prepared many things for our arrival and was always available via WhatsApp for any questions, which is very attentive and helpful. There were even scooters and surfboards in the house that we could use, which was a great bonus. Within walking distance, you’ll find restaurants, cafés, a supermarket and a beach.So everything you need is close by. All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. The combination of the amazing location, the modern house with a rooftop terrace and the friendliest host I’ve ever met made our stay truly special. Thank you, Rodrigo!☺️

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Porto da Cruz, Madeira. The location is perfect, just 30 meters from the beach, allowing for easy access to the sea. The apartment was impeccably clean, with a fresh scent of cleanliness and laundry upon arrival. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, providing everything needed for cooking, including pots, utensils, a blender, hand mixer, juicer, toaster, and more. This made preparing meals a delightful experience. The owner was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond by providing surfboards and wetsuits, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The terrace is furnished and perfect for enjoying meals outdoors, enhancing the overall experience. We highly recommend this apartment for its prime location, the owner's kindness, and the ample amenities available. It truly made our stay in Porto da Cruz memorable.

Pros: Great location in Porto Da Cruz, very short walk to the sea and all amenities around. Nice little village, easy access to other areas of Madeira. Came with surfboards and wetsuits to use, e scooters, some food and drinks to start and nice welcome from Rodrigo

Pros: It's a wonderful place and the house itself. We love the upper terrace where you can relax after a day of hiking. There are several restaurants nearby in the town, where we had a delicious meal. We stayed for 4 nights and it was very comfortable house (3 adults). Close to the airport (15 minutes by car). We always found a place to park in the town, there is no charge. The host Rodrigo is very helpful and provided a lot of useful information. We travel a lot, so I can compare it with many things and I can confidently say that this place is definitely worth 10 or even more :). Thank you Rodrigo once again, when we come back to Madeira, it will definitely be at your place :)

Perfect location to stay in the north

Pros: Such a spacious place, we had lovely breakfasts on the huge terrace, it is perfectly situated in Porto da Cruz and the perfect location to discover the north of the island 💝 Ricardo was a great host and we will for sure recommend this place. The beds were super comfortable and the accommodation made us feel at home. Great restaurants, a super market and a playground a very close

Cons: Only minor disappointment was that the piscina of the village was still closed

Nice little vacation house in a small village with great view

Pros: Everything we need for the activities and to face the weather on the islands (rain, sun) is available. Umbrella , beach umbrella, tracking poles, surf boards, even e-step for the children. Location of the house also good. Nice view, short walking distance to small supermarket, cafe en restaurant. The sounds of the wave become a lullaby at night and the birds chirping is our morning alarm.

Cons: Extra coat stand or rack will be better. The door to the terrace roof make a lot of noice. The shower crane is a bit of a puzzle and the water temperature is not consistent. But these are minor.

Pros: Great location to land in the heart of a beautiful village of Porto Da Cruz. Very friendly and caring host. Roof top was great for dining on with stunning views. Very clean and comfortable. Great air flow through the apartment and Rodrigo had just installed fly screens in every window which we were very grateful for. 2 extra heaters if you need. We loved our stay here.

Pros: The large terrace is very nice and the location of the accomondation is very good. The owner was friendly and helpful. Lots of different public parking options available.
