It's a great location for traveling around Madeira and exploring different parts of the island.

Pros: Cas Reis was a great place for our family to stay. It had two separate bedrooms, a living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. The host was very nice and welcomed us with bananas from his garden and traditional Portuguese cake. We also rented a car from him, and he provided airport transfers.

Ideal accommodation in a quiet environment, without the hustle and bustle of the city.

Pros: Quiet location. Within 300m a shop and a smaller bar. Within about 1km a pleasant restaurant. Ocean view. Owners pleasant and caring. They gave us fruit and wine.

Cons: An elderly person may have a problem with the spiral staircase to the second floor, where there are bedrooms and a bathroom with a toilet. We didn't mind anything.

Good value accomodation

Pros: The hosts were very kind. The kitchen was well equipped and thier was a washing machine and drier. The accommodation / location was quiet with great views and good walks. Down the hill, at the end of the road was a local, traditional bar without the tourist prices!

Cons: We were unlucky with the weather making the house a little cold and dark but in spring and summer this house would be perfect ! Electric heaters are provided. Wood and fire lighters were provided for the very temperamental wood burning stove.

Pros: Staying at Casa Reis in Madeira was definitely the best option!! The house is well located, comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay in the island :) If we would return again to Madeira for sure we will come back to Casa Reis!!!

Refreshing stay

Pros: The accommodation was fantastic. A very pleasant and relaxing location in a small village by the ocean. Essentially, the entire house was fully equipped for us. The owners were absolutely great, and we thank them for all the gifts. Nearby, there was a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the cliffs and a superb restaurant. A very refreshing stay.

Pros: We absolutely loved it. We recieved avocados and bananas from the garden on arrival, and cake and some homemade likor was placed in the living room for us. The house was huge for the three of us and the people very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth the money and we would always love to go back. The location was great too, very very peaceful.

a fully furnished apartment with hospitable hosts

Pros: The hosts are warm hearted people, they gave me fruits from the farm & local cake for free. The apartment is located at a quite village, it is big & well equipped, for example washing/ dry machine, hair dryer, baked oven, iron etc. I don’t have a car, but I went running/ trekking every day. There are many nice trails. 2 supermarkets just need few minutes walk. The price is totally reasonable. Highly recommended.
