Highly recommend! :)

Pros: Loved the style of the house, you could tell it was well maintained and everything was super clean! The host, Joao, is very friendly and helpful giving tips for the area aswell. It’s a more quiet side of the island, not so touristic but still plenty to do! And the view from the house was absolutely stunning!

Cons: More for information: it might be good to know the house is adjacent to another rental, so you may have neighbors. We were lucky though and the other place was empty, so Joao even said we could use both terraces.

Beautiful accommodation…… just perfect!

Pros: The interior and decor are fabulous. Very comfortable. The gardens and outdoor areas were fantastic!

The perfect getaway and base on Madeira, while exploring the west

Pros: The facility is truly beautiful in a tranquil and magical surrounding. Bernardo and Joao have beautifully restored the stone house of their grandfather, combining modern comfort with authenticity and tradition. The hosts are very welcoming and happy to share their story. Thank you Bernardo and Joao!

Cons: Nothing, it’s all perfect

Our stay was to short, because our expectations beforehand were exceeded!

Pros: Beautiful garden and beautiful view. Also, the tiny house is really cosy. Very nice interior and modern facilities. Also the host Maria was lovely and made us feel very welcome. She gave us a lot of recommendations (daytrips and restaurants) which were very nice.

Cons: If I must think of something, it would be nice to have a window screen against the mosquito. But it didn’t really bother us because there was an airconditioning unit available.

Pros: This place is a true gem, well engineered to provide everything you need. Joao is a gracious host, communication was good. And thank you to Maria for her hospitalilty and anecdotes about the area. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Cute Stone house with many details and great view

Pros: Total nett renoviertes Häuschen mit Lounge area outside and outdoor common area, nicely decorated, very clean, great host, very nice view sunset and well equipped with covered parking space. Restaurant in 1 min walking distance, well equipped kitchenette.

Lovely little house/apartment

Pros: Very cute studio apartment in a very quiet area of Madeira. There was a parking space in front and a small terrace from which to enjoy the view. The place was very neat and charming. The bed was comfortable you just cannot stand straight up in the bedroom if you are taller than 170cm. There was also not a great place to put your luggage. It is chilly in the evenings (we were there end of April) so you'll be happy they have a heater. Having a bottle of wine on offer was a nice gesture.

Cons: It is very very damp in the little house. The owner definitely needs to invest in a dehumidifier both for the comfort of the guests but more importantly to keep the house clean and the furniture maintained. It would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room for your guests in addition to the wine.

Pros: Wine for free, comfortable bed with good pillows, heating, sea view

Pros: Staff was amazing! They even let us to leave our car in a parking lot after check out. We definetly would like to stay here again.
