A lovely stay with lovely hosts, who also own the restaraunt next to the house.

Pros: I liked how the place had a certain authenticity about it. A small village in the mountains, quite lively for that small of a place, but every bit as cosy.

Cons: Maybe there is a version where breakfast could be included in the price of the night, so it's easier. Otherwise, everything was quite good.

Lovely, cosy stay with friendly people

Pros: Lovely little room tucked away, clean, comfy and cosy. Shower was good and staff were friendly and welcoming. You felt like you were stepping into a little local community. The attached restaurant did good food and poncha that nearly blew your head off!

Cons: No real breakfast option, but the attached restaurant were accommodating.

Pros: It was at a nice location, especially for my multi-day hike. The proximity to Pico do Arieiro made it easier to take a taxi there to view the sunrise. Staff was helpful, helped me to book a taxi late in the day for an early morning ride.

Very good room with great view from terrace

Pros: Very good location - in peace and there are trails nearby. Their restoraunt is must have to visit - very good food.

Cons: Bed was very nosy - we didn’t sleep well.

1 night stay for island cross hike

Pros: the accomodation was a lifesaver after the hike from Caniçal to Riberio Frio Food in the restaurant Faisca was very good (we had Espada with banana and Maracuja for Dinner and the Steak sandwich for breakfast). Bathroom was new

Beautiful family stay

Pros: We came here after long hiking day and we were very cold. The place itself was in high region so there was a heating system inside the room. We ate dinner in the restaurant which is owned by same family. Dinner was amazing also. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean. The place itself was very silent. The family was very helpful.
