Pros: A great place to stay in Funchal. It is a 10-minute walk to the old town gates and about 30 minutes to the cathedral, along a pleasant path among houses. The apartment has a bedroom with access to a terrace with a beautiful view of the ocean and stairs leading to a slightly higher living room with a kitchen and bathroom, as well as a second, smaller terrace. The flat is sufficiently large and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the bathroom is small but functional. The location is quiet and peaceful. The flat was very clean.

Perfect place with all confort.
Pros: The view, the silence, the peace. The house was perfect.
Cons: Probably the distance to the center could be a problem for some. But we enjoy walking up hill so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Nice cozy apartment with stunning view
Pros: Everything was fine. Apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a nice vacation. Furniture and equipment is new. Althought is not so close to Funchal city center, is around 20 min by foot on a road with views to the sea. The view from the 2 balconies is just stunning!! I would recommend this place.

Super place to stay for many days
Pros: The place looks recently renewed so everything is super clean,new and tidy, no mould (which is important on such a humid island)!! Washing machine is very convenient, plus there are liquid capsules for it. Plenty of towels to use. Its very spacious for 2 people, we found it comfortable! Our host,Luis was super friendly and helpful with everything, thank you again! Late check in wasnt a problem (for a little extra charge).
Cons: 2 things which is rather warning for others,not something that we didnt like: If you come with car (most likely since this place is not in the centre), it will be impossible to park at the accommodation but we found a spot 3 min walk away, which was always available. And there are construction works going on from the morning, so its quite loud if you plan to rest. But we came for exploring,so it wasnt an issue.

Madeira, the new place of our dreams, and this apartment was a fantastic find.
Pros: The property was ideal for our stay in Madeira, close enough to the old down to enjoy it, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. We loved the apartment layout, and it had everything we needed for our week there. We wandered downhill every day to enjoy the buzz of the place and go to many of the attractions, but usually by evening we used a very well priced uber to get us back up the hill. If you're fit enough, it really isn't far at all. The view is outstanding, and we loved to sit on the lovely terrace and watch the cruise ships and private boats sail past to the bay. It really is stunning and perfectly located. We didn't use it, but there were regular buses up and down the hill which would be a bonus for anyone wanting to travel around.
Cons: Air conditioning would have been very welcome indeed. The patio door wasn't best sealed and we were a little plagued by a lizard who thought it was his home. I didn't love sharing!

Pros: Très bon relationnel avec l’hôte. Nous sommes arrivés avec 2 jours de retard et l’hôte est resté très compréhensif. La localisation est top, à 5 minutes du centre ville. Quant à l’appartement, il est parfait avec une belle vue sur la mer. Il a tout ce qu’il faut pour pouvoir cuisiner la bas, et est suffisamment grand pour quelques jours à 2. Je recommande fortement !
