Really excellent location, responsive hosts - would definitely recommend.
Pros: The location was excellent. Endless restaurants on our doorstep, adjacent to the cable car, food shops nearby as well as the meeting point for all the tours and departure points for boat excursions, We were also able to swim nearby in the sea. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. We had a small issue when we arrived but we contacted the host and the next morning, even though it was a Sunday, someone came around early to sort it.
Cons: The local sewage system sometimes smells (in the street) and, from time-to-time there were bad odours in the bathroom but I don't think this was the fault of the apartment itself. Ultimately, it did not detract from our holiday and we would stay here again.

Enjoyable and good to discover that end of Funchal in more depth.
Pros: Good location. Not far from the Airport Express bus stop 4. Easy access to local shops, things to do and buses. Quiet despite being on a street full of restaurants. Appreciated the small terrace; useful for drying clothes and glasses of wine.
Cons: Although I knew there was no door to the bedroom; it did feel odd; especially when the partner had different going to bed and getting up times. The apartment is starting to feel like it needs some maintenance over the small stuff. Grubby grouting and broken window blind but I see that this has been mentioned in previous reviews.

Brilliant location, bright and airy!
Pros: Brilliant location, right in the heart of the old town but amazingly not noisy. It doesn't look too promising from outside but as soon as you open the door to the top apartment you are met with a lovely open, light airy space. The bedroom balcony looks down on to the bustling tiny alley ways of Funchal. All in all a great place to stay. But there are a couple of minor negatives.

Cons: Du fait de l'emplacement, l'appartement est bruyant Une caution de 150€ est demandée en ligne alors qu'il n'y a aucun état des lieux d'effectué La caution à été rendue 10 jours après notre départ L'appartement appartient à une société, le contact est impersonnel

Als Ausgangspunkt für Inselerkundungen sehr gut geeignet.
Pros: Mitten in der Altstadt, sehr gut ausgestattetes 1-Zimmer-Apartement mit Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine. Moderner Stil. Zimmer trotz belebter Straße mit doppelter Scheibe sehr ruhig. Karte für das Parkhaus um die Ecke ist Gold wert! Mietwagen ist ein Muss für die Insel.
Cons: Einige Möbel sind sehr abgewohnt und müssten erneuert werden. Badezimmerlüftung scheint nicht ausreichend, weshalb es dauerhaft feucht ist und in der Dusche schimmelt. Balkon zum Innenhof sehr nett, Innenhof jedoch vermüllt und nicht begehbar. Leider aktuell Umbau des Nachbarhauses und daher am Tage dauerhafter Baulärm. Für entspannte Stunden zum Relaxen ist die Wohnung weniger geeignet.

Appartement spacieux dans une zone idéale de Funchal
Pros: Très bonne situation au coeur de la rue principale des restaurants. Appartement au calme malgré l'animation en soirée dans la rue. Balcon sympa sur la façade et terrasse très utile sur la cour arrière pour prendre l'air tout en évitant la foule. Superficie très satisfaisante et cuisine toute équipée très fonctionnelle. Grande facilité pour obtenir les clés et double exemplaire très pratique pour pouvoir rentrer à des moments différents. La présence d'un lave-linge (avec son produit lavant) permet de rendre possible des séjours longs sans énorme valise.
Cons: Comme mentionné lors de précédents commentaires, il y a une odeur de canalisations fluctuante (entre assez forte et plutôt absente) dans la salle de bains mais il est difficile pour les propriétaires de lutter contre cela. La couverture du canapé-lit n'avait pas été suffisamment lavée mais nous avons pu faire sans. Il manque sans doute un meuble de rangement pour entreposer ses affaires sans devoir tout garder dans sa valise.

La mejor elección
Pros: La Ubicación es lo mejor, está en la calle que todo el mundo va a visitar, llena de arte, restaurantes, al lado del mercado , y cerca de supermercados , tiendas, teleférico y de los barcos, además tenemos una tarjeta de acceso gratuita a un parking muy cerca del apartamento. A pesar del bullicio de la calle está bien insonorizado, y además a las 12 de la noche están ya todos cerrados. Tiene balcones hacia la calle y una terraza en la parte posterior. Ha sido la mejor elección. Además había detergente, pastillas de lavavajillas suficientes, gel de baño Aceite de oliva, sal azúcar, café, infusión , estropajo, paños de cocina.
Cons: La cama principal es muy cómoda, pero el sofá plegable no le resultó cómodo a mi hija, creo que eso se podría mejorar. No es adecuado para personas con problemas de movilidad porque las escaleras de acceso son muy empinadas, y no hay ascensor.

Amazing Staying ☀️
Pros: Location is perfect - Close to everything - really nice small terrace at the back! Everything you need in the apartment is there. the car park is an amazing thing in Funchal.
Cons: If we have to give a “negative” critique it will only be that a bad smell was coming from all the drain’s. nothing that the owner can deal with.
