Cantinho DC

Pros: Tania is a very helpful en kind host. Location is excellent and the apartment very cosy.

Pros: Instructions for getting into the property were clear and precise, and any questions were answered quickly. Everything needed was provided - many things we had not expected, like tea & coffee, cooking oil, toothpaste. The place was very quiet, especially at night - a bonus in itself in Madeira! We could not fault anything.

A cozy place near the center of Funchal!

Pros: There are two bus stops nearby for the Aerobus service. It's close enough to walk from this place to the city center! The owners were welcome and available for any issues. The Kitchen is small but it works. Good coffee machine. Plenty of cuttelery, dishes, glasses... Lots of space to store additional food. Very good sofa on the living room, it's rare to see those nowadays. Bathroom was spacious and had plenty of toileteries and extra paper. The water heater appeared to be installed recently, it worked like a charm! Both bedrooms were nice, with plenty of spare bed sheets and spare towels. Lots of room to store clothes.

Cons: Nothing relevant.

Pros: Our stay in Cantinho DC was very pleasant. The house is very clean, close to a public transport stop, and the main street and the promenade are a 10-minute walk away. The owner was ready to help with everything. Thank you, Tanya! Our stay in Cantinho DS was very pleasant. The house is very clean, close to a public transport stop, and the main street and the promenade are a 10-minute walk away. The owner was ready to help with everything. Thank you, Tanya!

Cons: The only downside was that the house had a musty smell and some cockroaches, but we understood that this is common for tropical islands.

Wonderful and highly recommended

Pros: The property was very central. Tania our host went above and beyond to help us with any problems we had and kept in contact with us throughout our visit. We were left a welcome gift on arrival which was very thoughtful . She was a very attentive and helpful host and I would highly recommend a stay here at this property

Cons: A bit hard to find on arrival but Tania has updated the address details on booking.com for future visitors

Enjoyable.

Pros: Excellent position and meticulously clean. We are treated to complimentary cake, biscuits, water and Madeira wine. Contact with property owner was simple and gaining entry via key box was easy.

Cons: Nothing.

Very comfortable stay. Host is a lovely and helpful person. Highly recommend.

Pros: The host was very kind and helpful. Location perfect, cosy house, big bedrooms, everything you needed was provided.

Cons: Some bigger cups for tea.

Pros: If u want a great stay at Madeira, that is definitely a chance! For a reasonable price you get a house very close to the centre of Funchal, and at the same time located quite well to visit the whole island It is a very comfortable 2-bedroom apartment, in a separate house. And the parking places are always available nearby!

Pros: The house is very clean, comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Very good, also for the price But the best part was the owner, Tania was very kind with us, and ready for helping us for every little problem. I definitely reccomend this accomodation!

Pros: The house is well placed, in a location I'd stayed around before and which I like, due to it being accessible. It had everything we needed for one night but it's the kind of place you could happily stay more long-term too. It was very well presented and clean. Me and my friend were impressed by the attention to detail and the host was friendly and helpful.
