This was our first visit to Madeira and we loved the nature treks and the great city of Funchal .

Pros: This is a lovely modern apartment just a short 15 walk from the centre of Funchal. It has excellent facilities with a wonderful roof top gym and pool , great views over Funchal also from the rooftop.

Cons: The final 300m walk to the apartment is steep, so anyone with mobility issues should keep this in mind .

Pros: A beautiful apartment in a great location — staying here was an excellent decision. The place was spotless, very comfortable, and for the first time ever, the apartment looked even better than in the photos. I fully recommend it.

Cons: All great, I just recommended to add towel racks in the bathroom

Magical sat in Funchal

Pros: The apartment was in Funchal, 5 minutes walking from Madeira Casino and Santa Catarina park. Very easy to get to central Funchal and old town walking. It is brand new and has all the modern conveniences. There was a Bolo de Mel and some molasses cookies for our arrival which was very nice after a long flight. There was also some coffee pods and tea to start along with salt and olive oil essentials. We used the gym on the top floor and the roof top pool and lounge chairs came in handy on a couple of balmy days. The Relax Stay team were very attentive and responded to all our questions. We also appreciated having access to a washer/dryer combo. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need if you choose to eat in. Restaurants are also close by. I would definitely consider it again. Check out Maravilhas restaurant for lunch, which is down the street. It’s unassuming but delicious!

Cons: The bathroom was spacious and modern but could use some towel hangers. It would also be useful to have instructions included in the information binder on how to use the heating/air conditioning and the oven for those of us from North America who are accustomed to different systems, though we figured it out eventually.

Pros: Such a beautiful, brand-new apartment! Super well located right in the heart of Funchal. I loved the pool and the gym amenities. Highly recommend this place — and a special shoutout to Nicolette for the amazing attention!
