Nice place for sunbathing, I could stay in hotel I didn’t go somewhere for the swimming

Pros: Good communication with staff when I had a problem, nice view, very comfortable bed and really cozy place, a lot of place ti sunbathing unfortunately last day was only sunny

Cons: I think that problem is in every apartment / rooms in Madera but I think that standard very cold rooms, no radiator

Pros: A convenient place to stay, clean, stylish, well-equipped, and hassle-free.

Cons: The WiFi download speed was OK, but the upload speed was slow.

Pros: This is a very nice, perfectly designed apartment with a large bed, huge TV, nice balcony for a morning coffee and in general, it looks like the owner arranged it for themself. The kitchen is well-equipped. Easy check in and out. As for the parking, if you get back before 16:00 then there'll be a spot, if later - probably not, but there's also paid parking in 200m for 6.50 eur per day. Would stay again.

Cons: The wifi speed could be faster. It is 10/1 mbits, like 10 years ago.

Cons: The area is really hilly so be prepared especially if you carry heavy luggage. Couldn't find anything open to have a breakfast near before 8 am. Look around the McDonalds area and you'll find a good local place

Great space

Pros: Great space, good size. Very modern, clean and well equipped, lots of small details. View from balcony as pictures indicated, but the location was perfect for us. A short bus ride into Funchal, and the busses were very regular, easy to use, cheap and ran quite late. Well connected with the airport bus. Beautiful walks along the clifs and rock pools close by with reasonable evening or day rates. Lots of restaurants near to choose from. All the tour companies were able to pick up from the front of the property, and supermarket and shopping center a short walk away. Our host was fantastic, provided lots of information, answered and quetikns/recommendations promptly, and checked in with us. Fantastic service, excelente value. Would stay here again. Thank you very much.

Cons: Please note, this is on a hill, so there was a short steep section to go down/up for bus stop and shops, but I feel this is normal for Maderia considering the landscape. This was not a problem for us though.

Great for a couple who will spend most of their time out and about.

Pros: The apartment itself is very nice, it's small but a perfect size for a couple who are just using it as a base between days out. Things seemed modern within the apartment and is was very clean.

Cons: We had a bit of stress locating the property. The apartment block is an old hotel with the name not displayed on the building. It was purely by trying the access code at various blocks that I eventually found the right building. The old hotel isn't in the best condition but the apartment looks modern and was great. The Car Park was a bit of a challenge as it filled up very quickly. There is a public car park a few minutes walk down the road.

Pros: Espaço super acolhedor , com uma vista para o mar muito bonita Por dentro um apartamento bem equipado mas com algumas coisas a melhorar. Pontos positivos: Secador de cabelo Máquina de lavar roupa Ferro para passar roupa Aspirador Utensílios de limpeza Torradeira Máquina de café Cama super confortável Ar condicionado Boa iluminação , o quarto então é espetacular

Cons: Pontos negativos que na minha opinião deveriam melhorar: Estacionamento - nos primeiros dois dias conseguimos arranjar estacionamento no prédio, mas nos últimos dois dias tivemos de pagar 20€ (10€ por dia) em estacionamento…acho que dentro do estacionamento do prédio poderiam ter um lugar reservado só para o alojamento Depois das 18:00 mais ou menos para arranjar estacionamento é complicado quase que não podemos sair de casa porque depois quando chegarmos não temos estacionamento… Outro ponto a melhorar é ter mais utensílios de cozinha como panelas por exemplo só tem uma panela e uma frigideira Poderia também disponibilizar alguns produtos de higiene como sabonete para as mãos e gel de banho ,champu…

Great location, comfortable, enjoyed kitchen and balcony

Pros: It was very comfortable. I liked having a kitchen. I enjoyed the balcony. The location was great. It was easy to communicate with the host. The instructions to get in were very clear.

Cons: I was glad that others commented on these things so that I was aware so I just want to reiterate: the parking lot is very small and fills quickly and the washing machine doesn’t work properly.

Pros: Très bon emplacement, calme et arrêt de bus à 5 min à pieds permettant d'aller dans le centre de funchal.

Cons: Pas beaucoup de place de parking disponible.

Fijne plek om te verblijven.

Pros: Mooi gelegen, dichtbij zee. Modern ingericht appartementje. Op een verstopt doucheputje en een kapotte deurknop na, (besproken met de host, dit wordt meteen opgepakt) erg mooi. Je moet wel goed ter been zijn, want je moet klimmen om naar het strand of de stad te kunnen.

Cons: Parkeergelegenheid. De bijbehorende parkeerplaatsen zijn te weinig voor zo’n grote accommodatie. We moesten de auto betaald, in de parkeergarage zetten.
