Pros: We a family of 2 adults and 2 15 years old teenagers and a 7 years old girl., from Uk.The apartment it's very clean and comfy, with everything you need with a family trip. Jose and his wife are amazing people, they are so kind and always ready to help and sorted any unexpected issues. Both speak English and Portuguese. Plus one of the best parts it is, they own a medium size coffee/restaurant called Smarts da Ajuda too, only 1 or 2 minutes walk from the entrance door of the building, where they serving amazing food for all tastes, and for reasonable prices,. I been in Madeira 10 times already, but this for me been one of the best places, to stay and eat. We look forward to book our holidays there again next time.
Cons: The only issue we have is because the lift broken during our stay and we on the fourth floor, so really hard to get in and out. Jose called the company straight away, but they say they need to wait for a part wich they don't have available apparently, so no Jose's fault of course, but is the only thing wich been a bit hard, specially because of my health conditions. But if you in a good health probably not matter.

Pros: We had a free parking space included. Perfect location. The hosts Jose and his wife are extremely helpful and nice. He brought some things at the airport which we forgot behind. The apartment was super clean and spacious.

Luxurious Large Apartment in Upmarket Funchal Suburb
Pros: One of the best properties I have ever rented! Large & very comfortable apartment in an upmarket neighbourhood of Funchal (about 30min walk or 5€ Uber fron the city center); traditional look yet modern, very clean, perfect working order. Three bedrooms (two doubles, one twin), two bathrooms (one with shower, the other with tub, two wash basins and a bidet), ample storage space, kitchen with dining table, laundry room with washing machine and dryer, large living room with a dining corner, two terraces (one towards the inner court yard, one overlooking the street), large entry lobby, safety box, good wifi, underground garage, 4th floor with a lift; plenty of eateries around, shopping mall 3min walk away, 10min walk to the beach. Jose available for Qs and help on Whatsapp.
Cons: The parking garage is very tight (at least by NZ standards - seems normal here). Rent the smallest car you can get away with!

We will be back
Pros: The apartment had everything we needed. It was spacious, clean and there was a well-equipped kitchen and lots of storage space. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was situated next to a shopping mall, lots of restaurants nearby, but still the neighbourhood was peaceful. Jose, the landlord, was very helpful with any questions we had.

Outstanding.
Pros: Spacious, clean, very accessible and close to everything. A friendly and professional coffee place (Smarts Coffee) also a friendly, professional, good vibes only barber (Old Skull Barber), right below the building... Amazing restaurants within 500m to 1 km with promenade access and outstanding views. Shopping center 2 min away. Couldn't ask better for the price.

Spent great holidays
Pros: Jose is a great host. The apartment is pretty and spacious. It's located close to the beautiful western seaside promenade of Funchal. The coffee shop, which is a good destination for breakfast, is right downstairs. The Madeira Forum shopping center literally around the corner.
Cons: Everything in the underground parking garage is very narrow and tight. It demands quite a bit of care and skill to get in and out.

We had a great time there and sincerely recommend this place!
Pros: Jose is a very nice and good host – very communicative, quick to answer questions and very helpful in every matter. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms from the quiet side of the building, with all the necessary equipment (there is even a washing machine and a dishwasher), and place for a car in the underground parking. We had a great time there and sincerely recommend this place!

Pros: Best choice - I sincerely recommend. Comfortable, clean and very nice apartment. Everything you need is on the equipment, washer, dryer, dishwasher.... Parking space in the garage. Fast wifi internet (very important for me at work). Ocean view, close to shopping center, car rentals. Everything you need. Most importantly, the owners themselves are very nice, helpful. Great neighborhood, the owner has a cafe under the apartment, where you can eat delicious breakfasts (English breakfest - yum), drink coffee or try Poncha :) . Jose and his wife are very nice and hospitable. We will definitely return, and in the meantime sincerely and highly recommend. Jose we sincerely greet you and hope in future to You visit us in Krakow someday :) Greetings and we already miss you.
