Pros: Martim made us feel home, very friendly and helpful .. breakfast in the box was great, location was close to everything in Funchal.. Definitely highly recommended

Pros: The studio was very well equipped, set among lovely gardens. We had 'Breakfast in a box' which was very good, although there was more food than we could use. Martim suggested, and booked up, any restaurants or tours that we were interested in and was always available to answer any queries - and got rid of all our cardboard!!

Absolutely best class in Funchal

Pros: What a quinta! So well kept with love honoring the history of the place. The quinta was surrounded with a beautiful garden full of flowers, fruit and decorations, just loved it! Apartment was a cozy hobbit nest, nicely&homely decorated combining old and new style and spotlessly clean. Apartment had a nice yard with sea view for own use - we used it a lot! Above all, our hosts were outstanding—helpful, friendly, and warm like none we've met before. Thank you, Helena, Roberto, and Martim; we'll definitely return!

Pros: I think it’s the best apartment! Because of the nature, old trees, birds and bananas right at the entrance! About apartment everything was good and clean. Thanks for the vine and local cookies surprise!

Cons: Unfortunately there was no shower gel, so you need to be ready.

Pros: We had a wonderful time at this apartment. It was nicely furnished, clean, and equipped with all the essentials you need during your stay. The kitchen is basically equipped, the bed is firm but very comfortable, and the shared terrace offers a beautiful view. The location is ideal: within walking distance of the city center, although you do have to walk up a steep hill to get back – something to keep in mind, but it wasn’t a problem for us. There is also plenty of parking nearby, which is very convenient if you’re renting a car. The hosts, Roberto and Helena, were amazing. They are friendly, easy to reach, and gave us great tips on what to do in the area. They also helped us arrange tickets for several activities, which was a real bonus. The dinner on the last evening is highly recommended! All in all, a perfect place to stay for anyone wanting to explore Madeira from a comfortable and welcoming base.

Pros: We have just had a wonderful stay in our studio. It was everything I,d hoped. It was important to me to have the garden..which is totally beautiful. Just open the door and it,s there... Our contact with Helena and Roberto was very easy and they were so generous with information concerning everything we were curious about. Big thanks to them. The walk down to Funchal is fine. You have to be aware of traffic, but much of it has a pavement. This is standard for Funchal, not just this area, just a quirk of being slightly out of centre. The walk back up to the Quinta is good exercise. We did this everyday and felt the benefit...but there is also a bus stop right by the house, so not a problem. Parking is also easy and there is a great bakery and well stocked grocery store around the corner. I most certainly recommend Romantic Studio. We will certainly stay again!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful villa, stunning views, very peaceful. Helpful hosts. Steep 20 min walk into the Zona Velta for closest restaurants or 4 Euros on the bus, 6 Euros in a taxi.
