Simply saying perfect place for holidays in Madeira.

Pros: Location was perfect in many terms. First of all amazing view through window to coast and rest of Funchal, secondly perfect location itself, here I mean close distance to walk to center of Funchal, strategically good location to get quickly to highway by car and continue drive to any direction of Madeira where you are interested in. Third, under the apartments is garage for your car. By the way, supervisor Gerardo can assist you with car rental from local, if necessary. No need to look only for well known brand car rental services. Gerardo simply saying is very kind and helpful. You will feel it from the first conversation. And of course, welcome snacks and fruits from Gerardo on the first evening after arrival directly from airport was very kind gesture. What forgot else - transfer from and to airport also was included. We found very close free access to beach next to Forte de São Tiago. My kids enjoyed it. What else you can wish - I think just good mood to enjoy miracle of Madeira.

Pros: Good location and facilities, walking distance towards everything. Gerardo is there to help you with everything you want and need! Ps install glovo to order food and groceries ;) or you can walk up and down the hills ;)

Pros: The apartment was spacious with everything we needed. It also was clean and towels were changed every 2 days. There were 2 bathrooms so we didn’t have to wait for showers. The host was very responsive whenever we had questions. He was also super nice and prepared some welcome fruit and snacks for us when we checked in.

Cons: The garage was small so parking was quite difficult.

Pros: Very clean. Simple check in. Gerardo was there waiting for us when we arrived, very polite and left us a few goodies from the local bakery!

Excellent base to explore Madeira

Pros: Gerardo was a perfect host, friendly and helpful, and patient when we had some delays getting from the airport. Lovely fruit and local delicacies on arrival. The apartment was perfectly clean, very well equipped, and spacious. Two bathrooms with plenty of towels, washing machine proved useful, good wifi, coffee machine with filters. Nice view down over the city. Access to private garage very useful. Lots to do and see in Madeira.

Cons: We didn't find any shops, restaurants, or bars very close to the apartment. The busier area is nice and not too far, but it's quite a strenuous and warm climb back up the very steep hill heading home. This was our first holiday without access to a pool. The nearest beach wasn't comfortable or attractive. Madeira has lots to see and do, but we missed having somewhere to just relax in the sun at times.

Pros: Palheiro residence was one of the best stays of our vacation. Gerado and his team ensured that we were well looked after with bins and towels changed every second day. The house was lovely, spacious and clean. Everything worked and was well located near Funchal if you have a car.

Cons: Personal preference: the beds were too hard for us.

We had a nice stay.

Pros: We had no problem with parking - there is a garage and the car was inside. The host welcomed us very nicely.

Recomend for comfortable stay in Madeira center

Clean, comfortable, and exactly what I hoped for.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, and very professionally built and furnished apartment. Towels were changed every second day, and the bed sheets weekly, always with a thorough cleaning. The host was extremely polite and helpful.

Cons: Honestly, nothing to complain about!

It was great, we are already planning our next stay in Madeira

Pros: The owner was waiting for us with the keys to the apartment and was helpful in everything, including arranging a transfer to and from the airport very early in the morning. This place is of a high standard and is in a good location.
