Great apartment for a short break in Madeira.

Pros: The apartment was like home from home. Everything we could want was provided and attention to detail was first class. Gerardo was wonderful host and looked after us exceptionally well. We would definitely book again.

Cons: If I am picky, I would have liked a king size bed rather than the double size.

Excellent.Could have asked for better.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay.We had a great time in Funcha.There was loads of things to see and do in Funchal.Gerardo met us on arrival and departure to greet us and handover our key for our stay.He gave us a lovely welcome package of goodies.We couldn't have had a better host.The apartment was spotless. clean,comfortable, had excellent facilities, amenities and is in an excellent location.We couldn't have asked for better and woul love to return to this apartment in Funchal Maderia in the near future.We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Pros: Apartament is close to the Funchal centre, around 10min walk. Host is extremely kind, caring and helpful. View from the balcony is beautiful,flat has all the amenities you need.

Pros: The apartment has a garage, which is great considering the location. It is equipped with practically everything you need. The host Gerardo Franco is always available and above all helpful.

Cons: The beds are very uncomfortable. The mattress on the double bed is useless, uncomfortable and uneven. The bed frame itself also makes loud noises every time you move it. Personally, this is very important to me and I think it is essential for a comfortable stay. I hope you decide to update this first. I also missed the outdoor space. The balconies are very narrow and not suitable for family gatherings. With the balcony overlooking the interior garden, you can listen to the chirping of eight parrots in a nearby cage all day long...if you like that. It is a communal apartment and of course some of these remarks are expected

Very good.

Pros: The apartament is big enough for a family with 2 kids or 2 coupes. It has everything you need. The most important is that it has a private parking place and the location is fabulous- you can reach the old town and the center of Funchal by foot. We used to walk every evening.

Cons: The bathrooms should be improved and modernized .

Very comfortable apartment with a great view of the town and a very helpful host.

Pros: Spacious property with a beautiful view of the town. Very quiet location. Steep hill back up from the town but worth it for the location. Excellent garage parking if needed. Airport transfer was a bonus. Gerardo was extremely helpful and communication before and during the holiday was spot on. He met us in person and showed us around the apartment. At the end of the week he was there to make sure we were picked up by taxi for the return journey. Two double bedrooms plus two separate bathrooms. Plenty of amenities such as kitchen items, washing facilities etc. Changing of towels several times during the week was also appreciated.

Cons: All very good and exceeded our expectations.

Pros: Everything was perfect, apartment was clean, the host (Gerardo) gave us everything we needed and much more. Apartment is equiped with all suppliences you need. Nothing else to say but thank you for making our stay in Funchal perfect. :)

Amazing place and host

Pros: Everything was absolutely amazing, the best accommodation I ever stayed at! The host was so nice, he waited for me to arrive and showed me around the apartment and he prepared some fruit and cake as a welcome, he even offered a pick up from the airport. He was very welcoming and polite. The facilities were great, everything worked perfectly, we had a parking spot in the garage. The view towards the sea is breathtaking and the location is close to an area with restaurants and cafes, within walking distance from the center of Funchal and the cable car.

Cons: That I can't move there indefinitely.

Great flat with great views

Pros: The flat was clean, comfortable, had an aircon and great view over the harbour. It is also a walking distance to the center. The welcome fruit, chocolates and pastries pack was a pleasant and a very tasty surprise. If you are hiring a car, the garage option is priceless. We would recommend this place.

Cons: We liked everything. One note for those who don't do hills. It is, a bit like most places in Madeira, up the hill from the center. Bus or taxi is always an option.
