Apart Monumental

Pros: This apartman very nice, beautiful wiev the Atlantico ocean, in a bananas plants center. The bus to Funchal is very near, and 20 minits to town. Luis and your wife was very nice and helpfully. They surprised me fresh bananas and maracujas, wich grows in the own garden. We had a great time.

Cons: Didn' t was nothing.

Pros: The property is exceptional, and the hosts are very welcoming, charming and friendly! If you are looking for a spacious place with a nice view, excellent accommodation, quiet atmosphere but still very close to the heart of Funchal, this must be your choice!

Nice area with lovely view

Pros: Very good location, nice and quiet area. Room was good, value for money. We enjoyed it.

Cons: There is no reception so it was a little bit difficult to find the right property. There is no daily room cleaning so if you are staying for a little longer it is a small problem with rubbish, toilet paper etc. Be prepare for mosquitos.

Pros: Well, in my opinion the location is perfect, you can park your car in front of house or 1-2 min away.Owned by a beautiful family you got pretty much everything you need.We got a room with shower and a small kitchen,a beautiful garden with ocean view and banana trees around. Nothing luxurious but decent, we were there for the hiking and visiting the island so we didn't need more Obrigado for everything

Just one word: healing in any way imaginable.

Pros: Location is wonderful, on a cliff just outside the city overlooking Praia Formosa. The backyard is large and well endowed with luxurious vegetation, sunbeds and an open-air kitchen.

Cons: Heating and air conditioning systems were not present - not that Madeira's climate would make them necessary for more than a couple of days per year...

Pros: Our room was clean and comfortable.The building is huge and very quiet ,so you don't hear the other guests or cars .Joana the owner of the building is such a nice person and made our vacation very special! She gave us the best tips and organized a vehicle for us on the same Day! On top of that was the car brought to us infront of the Apartment building !!! Thank you Joana and of course the staff we're looking forward to see you again ! ❤️

Pros: This house is located in very calm and quiet area, thus you won’t have there many tourists and touristic restaurants and pubs. Around the house there are banana fields so you can enjoy this view. The house is very well equipped - kitchen, place to rest and relax. Rooms are big and clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were getting basket of fresh bananas every morning 😊

Cons: The common space like kitchen require cleaning a bit more often. The rooms are very cosy however there is no hanger in the bathroom nor any shelf to put your shampoo on (just a suggestion of improvement).

Pros: The owner was really positive, nice and helpful .The apartment was really spacious, it had terrace outside, shared outside kitchen, outside shower, outside bqq and was surrounded by banana plants.

Cons: In the very bottom apartment where we were at, the wifi connection could be reachable only from bathroom or from outside of the apartment i.e. garden or stairs that were leading to the street. There were not many sockets in the apartment which with more than 2 people would be problematic to charge all electronics

Nice place to stay not far away from Funchal

Pros: They have very well-furnished kitchen. You can cook whatever you want there. And we also had nice view on the ocean. But not all of the rooms have it. The place is quiet and it takes about 20- 30 minutes to get Funchal from there. Bus stop number 1 is 1 -2 minutes from the apartment.You can also walk to Camara de Lobos or even to Funchal on the beautiful seaside but need to find the entrance to it.

Cons: They don’t provide shampoo but when we asked they gave us it without any problems and everything we were asking for. We’re very grateful for it! The owners are very friendly and nice people. We felt there like at home.

Pros: Brilliant host and very friendly… everything was perfect
