Fantastic apartment, stunning location and views.

Pros: Location near the old town, close walking distance to bars and restaurants. The view from the apartment is spectacular, spacious balcony, fantastic panoramic views from the main bedroom. The apartment is well equipped and very private. Secure parking within one minutes walk. The letting agency staff were very helpful with any queries, we would definitely return.

Cons: Minor detail, but we would have appreciated some coffee pods for the machine, tea bags supplied but not coffee.

Superb apartment with amazing views of the sea and only a short walk to the centre of Funchal.

Pros: The location of the property is superb. Amazing views. Very close to a wide variety of restaurants in the old town and not far from the city centre and the attractions there. We had a couple of issues ( for example the dishwasher didn’t work ) but the management company dealt with our queries promptly and efficiently. Thank you Bruno!

Für zehn Tage Urlaub eine top Location, Kleinigkeiten waren zu bemängeln, aber in Summe ein schöner Urlaub.

Pros: Prinzipiell Luxus: Beste Lage, super Ausblick, Meeresrauschen, großzügig und geräumig, Zweitschlüssel wurde unkompliziert nachgeliefert, mit gebuchte Tiefgarage war sehr sinnvoll, gute Ausstattung der Küche mit Backofen, Mikrowelle und Waschmaschine.

Cons: Es gab wenige, aber unschöne Details: Toilettenbrille und Deckel haben gefehlt und der Kontakt mit der Betreuung sagte, es dauert, weil die vom Festland geliefert wird. Es gibt drei Baumärkte in der Nähe und ich habe nach zwei Tagen selbst einen Toilettensitz besorgt, denn auf der Keramik zu sitzen, ist wirklich alles andere als Luxus. Großer Minuspunkt für ein „Luxury Appartement“. Fehlende Toilettensitze sind uns aber auch in anderen Punkten der Stadt aufgefallen. Es scheint also irgendwie „normal“ zu sein. Die meisten der Küchenmesser waren unscharf und daher nicht zum Schneiden von Gemüse geeignet, die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert (Code gesperrt), was für einige heiße Stunden am Tag verkraftbar war. Es gab im Bad keine Möglichkeiten, Handtücher irgendwo aufzuhängen, da hätte ich mir ein paar Haken an den Wänden gewünscht. Die Verschlüsse der Fenster sind irgendwie fummelig. Es erfolgt keine Zwischenreinigung.

Emplacement exceptionnel pour un séjour confortable.

Pros: Localisation exceptionnelle, balcon sur l’océan avec pour seul bruit les vagues. Appartement confortable, bien agencé. Instructions claires pour arrivée et départ. Localisation très commode, à quelques minutes à pied de l’entrée de la vieille ville.

Cons: Une seul chaise longue disponible; chaise cassée devant la porte aurait dû être remplacée avant location.

Pros: Cudowna lokalizacja i doskonałe widoki. Bardzo komfortowe mieszkanie.

Cons: Klimatyzacja nie jest najbardziej wydajna i niestety zamki w oknach nie działały.

Schöne Wohnung mit Schwachstellen in zentraler Lage Funchals

Pros: Die Wohnung liegt zur Straßenseite quasi im UG, hat Hanglage, direkt einige Meter über dem Atlantik. Das Meeresrauschen ist allzeit präsent. Spektakulär sind die riesigen Panoramafenster im Schlafzimmer. In wenigen Minuten ist man fussläufig in der Altstadt mit zahlreichen Restaurants. Der dazugehörige Parkplatz erspart die lästige Parkplatzsuche am Rand der meist sehr engen Gassen.

Cons: Der Balkon hätte etwas sauberer sein können. Ein größerer Balkontisch wäre schön gewesen, der vorhandene war zum Frühstück selbst für zwei Personen zu klein. Für die kleine Reinigung zwischendurch gab es lediglich einen Akku-Tischsauger, ein Besen wäre hilfreich. Insgesamt wird an Kleinigkeiten in der Wohnung in diesem Preissegment gespart. Es gibt keine Ersatzmüllbeutel, lediglich zwei Kaffeekapseln und Toilettenpapier mussten wir auch nachkaufen. Hier sind wir bessere Leistungen gewohnt, eine Flasche Wein und Wasser ist eigentlich Standard.

Pros: Emplacement avec vue directement (on ne peut faire mieux) sur la mer ! Très bel appartement, très confortable et très bien équipé.
