Pros: We appreciated a lot the location near the bus stations, markets, restaurants etc. We liked the rooms´design.
Cons: The kitchens are not equipped with enough necessary utensils if you want to cook yourself. And we also lacked enough wine glasses or larger tea mugs. A small disadvantage of the accommodation is that it is located above a bar where on Friday and Saturday nights the music blares until 3 in the morning.

Pros: In a prime location, the apartment is near nice restaurants, shops, the ocean, and public transport, making it very stylish. With two separate bedrooms, each with a kitchen and toilet, the apartment is ideal for two couples. Communication with the host was excellent.
Cons: One thing to be aware of is a bar playing loud music until 2 am on weekends, which could be disruptive for early sleepers. It's important to note that only one room has windows, but the apartment is fully air-conditioned.

Great place to stay in the center of Madeira
Pros: Located in the center, close to a lot of restaurants and cafes, it is very spacious and clean, has 2 apartments each one with its own kitchen and bathroom, it is equipped with everything you need, easy check in.
Cons: Because of its central location, the parking might be difficult. But there are some parking buildings 5-10 min walk from the apartment that have a good price for a day (we found one with 6€ per 24 hours).

A spacious and creatively decorated apartment in the heat of Funchal with an exceptional host.
Pros: I ran into a snafu on the transportation from the airport to the apartment in the center of Funchal, due to a miscommunication with my traveling partner. As a result, I arrived at the apartment quite late in the evening and the host heard from one of the taxi drivers (incorrectly, unfortunately) that I had decided not to come to the apartment. So when I finally arrived, no one was there to meet me. But I sent a text to the owner, and he promptly got out of bed at one o'clock a.m. to cheerfully let me in and make sure I was comfortable. His kindness and hospitality despite my confusion, due to no fault of his, was remarkable and very gratifying. I'm a permanent fan of him and will stay there again any time I return to Funchal.
Cons: The automatic door deadlock extended twice before the door was closed, making it impossible to close. Both times the owner responded quickly and helpfully to rectify the problem. I'm confident that he will figuredout how to avoid this issue going forward.

Pros: Well located in the city center. Nice, well equiped apartman for 4 person. Friendly host Ricardo was very helpful and kind. Te WIFI and the Netflix option was very good.
Cons: One of the bedrooms do not has windows only has air conditioner.

Pros: Lokacija apartmaja v samem centru mesta, zelo velika povezana apartmaja v 1.nadstropju z zelo strmimi stopnicami. Lepo,čisto,poskrbljeno za kavo,čaj in z vso opremo ki jo potrebuješ za prijetno bivanje. Zelo priporočam.
Cons: V enem apartmaju ni delala pipa v kopanici, v drugem kotliček wc-ja. Motilo nas je da ni bilo zamenjave brisač v 5 dneh bivanja.

Pros: La struttura è in pieno centro e a due passi dal porto. La posiziona è davvero ottima. Pulitissima, ogni stanza era super attrezzata e non ci è mancato nulla. Molto ricercata e interessante per quanto riguarda l'arredamento, lo abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo e soprattutto era veramente molto spaziosa. Nel caso dovessimo tornare a Funchal sicuramente ricontatteremo Ricardo che è stato sempre gentile e disponibile. I miei amici e io concordiamo con il fatto che le foto non rendono giustizia alla struttura perchè è anche meglio dal vivo!
Cons: Una piccola pecca è la mancanza di un parcheggio privato ma non è un grande problema poichè la città dispone di diversi parcheggi a pagamento nei paraggi (consigliamo Park 5 Octubre, abbastanza vicino, ampio ed economico).
