Light, modern well appointed apartment centrally located.
Pros: Lovely light & spacious apartment, south facing with a glimpse of the sea. A nice balcony to sit in the sun. Lovely fixtures & fittings, very modern, sleek & clean. All amenities for self catering, kitchen well stocked with appliances and crockery. Only 10 minute walk from the Old Town and centre of Funchal. The pool was too cold for us to try it out (Jan/Feb) but looked very clean.
Cons: The outside key code for access did not always work, luckily there is also a key supplied. (Don't go out in the evening without the key to the outside gate). There were dogs barking a lot of the time. The uphill climb back to the apartment was hard going, this applies to most of Madeira though! Note: There is a nearby school with constant noise from the children during the week. This did not bother us but others may be sensitive to this sort of noise.

Pros: The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, with plenty of cookware and utensils, so you could easily prepare your own meals. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The location is great, with easy access and convenient connections to the city center. We felt comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely recommend this place.
Cons: The only minor drawback was some occasional noise from the nearby school and, at times, from the football stadium during weekend matches (usually on Saturdays and Sundays), which happened to coincide with our stay.

Great apartment with great facilities
Pros: Great apartment, spotlessly clean & comfortable with lovely welcome gifts from the hosts
Cons: This wouldn’t have stopped us staying there but it could get a little bit noisy during the day due to the local nursery school being in very close proximity if you wanted a quiet afternoon by the pool but this is a very minor point

A lovely stay indeed!
Pros: The apartment was lovely, really spacious and clean. The team were easy to get hold of via WhatsApp on arrival. The locations is great to be able to walk to either side of the town and also very handy to have a parking space. Having a pool is a nice bonus, but was in and out of sun during our stay so didn’t use it that much.

Great stay in a beautiful and spacious apartment
Pros: Really spacious and nice apartment which is just as good in person as in the pictures! The balcony and garden were perfect. Having two bathrooms was also big a plus. The apartment is equipped with airconditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. The host was very easy to reach and helped us anytime we needed.

Pros: The apartment inside is stunning: wide, comfy, really beautiful. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large balcony with view over the pool and the city. The pool is free for use for the guests and it is suitable also for children, as it's not very deep (1.40m tops), and for non-swimming people like me :-). The kitchen is provided with everything you need, including a microwave oven, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, and a freezer. In the living room there is a large sofa and a 50+ TV smart screen. There is a car garage with dedicated spot, not very big but enough for a small car. Funchal is Madeira's largest city, and there's pretty much all you need. Five-ten minutes from the apartment there are bars, restaurants, a large supermarket (Anadia), and the Avenida do Mar (the seafront). If you want to take a trip to Monte, absolutely recommended, the \
Cons: Air conditioning is missing: not absolutely necessary, but with climate change also Madeira is getting hotter, it's likely that in the future some more air cooling will come handy (there were two electric fan, one in the living room and another in a bedroom). The only really negative aspect is the location of the building: the street is incredibly steep, thus either you have a car or you are going to work hard your way back to the flat when you get out. Funchal has generally steep streets, so it may be a common pain point for all the apartments not leaning directly on the front of the ocean. There is no place where to temporarily store the luggage in case you are on a early check-in or a late check-out. Keep this in mind when you plan your arrival and departure, because it's not always possible to find a compromise such as having access to the flat before the standard check-in time (4pm) -- which we had, luckily. This, combined with the \

Beautiful apartment
Pros: This is a beautiful apartment with a luxurious feel. It has everything you need and it was clean, fresh and modern. Location was excellent for the old town and it was a lovely walk to the lido area. The pool was brilliant, always quiet and so sun bed hoggers which was refreshing. The terrace was wonderful, with views over Funchal and views of the cable cars. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend the apartment.
Cons: The only negative is that the place does not have air conditioning. We hadn't realised this when booking which is our fault of course, but for the price we paid we assumed it would have it. Nevertheless when we asked staff to provide us with an extra fan so we would have one for each bedroom they were very helpful and dropped one off for us.
