Pros: Lovely street location. Bright, comfortable and spacious apartment. Very well equipped kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Very attentive and helpful host, Joana.

Cons: We were very happy with almost all aspects of our accommodation.

Pros: The position of the accomodation is perfect. You are close to the city center (10 minutes from the cathedral and mercado dos Lavadores), 20min by walk to the zona Velha. We stayed four days and always find park right in front of our door. Furthermore the house is extremely quiet and we slept like babies. The house is fully equipped, clean, big and comfortable. Finally the host is extremely kind and always replied quickly to our messages. Really nothing to complaint. Highly recommended.

Cons: Nothing.

Enjoyable stay

Pros: Cleanliness of the apartment is excellent. Joana is a lovely host, allowing us to leave cases and always on time to meet us. Plenty of room- extra beds with the sofa beds and 3 bathrooms was great for 4 single travellers.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Maybe have mugs instead of cups for teas and coffees.

Fantastic Apartment

Pros: Fabulous apartment. Lots of space, great facilities, comfy king size bed. Very accommodating owner who allowed us in early. Joana was always available if needed. The location was superb. Although it appears to be up a steep hill, if you walk past the Snack Bar Paris and take the first road down, past the Castanheiro hotel, it's very easy on the knees. Within 10 minutes' walk of pretty much everywhere in Funchal Centro, you have Museums, bars, restaurants, churches on your doorstep. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Pros: The host Joanna was excellent. We loved the apartment and its facilities . It is close to Funchal centre, down the hill.

Cons: We would have preferred a softer bed
