Spacious modern stay in the centre of Funchal

Pros: Beautiful decor, spacious rooms, impeccably clean and great location right in the centre of Funchal. Lovely views from the balcony whilst not being overlooked. We enjoyed the little additions such as complementary Madeira wine, chocolates, coffee machine with pods and show miniatures. Secure building - the entrance hall and lift were also very clean and new.

Cons: The only thing missing in the apartment was a full length mirror. There’s also a 100€ cash deposit which is returned on the day you leave, which a slightly inconvenient when you’re about to leave with a load of cash in a different currency. Being able to take a charge/hold on a credit card would be better.

Great place to stay in Funchal!

Pros: The apartment is centrally located in Funchal, in a flat area, which makes it very convenient—there is no need to go up or down hills even for simple errands like grocery shopping. We stayed as a group of four adults and two children, and the apartment offered ample space to comfortably accommodate everyone. The availability of two bathrooms with showers was especially convenient. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and we were warmly welcomed with a small treat from the host. There are two balconies: one facing the main street with plenty of sunlight, and another overlooking the backyard, providing a pleasant shaded retreat. The dining table comfortably seats six people, and the kitchen is very well equipped, offering everything needed to prepare even more elaborate meals.

Cons: Adding a clothes rack in the hallway seems like a good idea.
