Pros: The location of the building is awesome. The apartment was spacious. I forgot to provide my flight arrival info in advance, and host made a big effort to meet us at the building on short notice, was was really nice.

Cons: Color temperature of most bulbs was 6000K - was like staying in a hospital room. Decorative choices were weird and inconsistent. Had trouble using showers in both bathrooms at same time. Shower mat had green mold growing on it. Building was run down and a little creepy.

Ocean Breeze Apartment

Pros: The apartment was very well situated, close to all amenities. There was a dedicated parking space in the basement garage and easily accessible recycling bins. The interior of the apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. Everything you would need for a holiday was there. The balcony was large with a great view of the harbour. The neighbourhood was quiet (we didn't leave the windows open at night). The staff were very friendly and met us on arrival to show us the parking space and the apartment. We were able to check out a little later as no one was taking over the apartment that day. It was a great stay and we would definitely go back.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't really like. However, the twin mattresses were quite firm, too firm for us and the twin bedroom could do with air conditioning. There was a fan in there and that helped a lot. Everything else was perfect.

Mum and daughter escape

Pros: The apartment was immaculate, hosts were lovely, rooms were huge. Loads of shops and restaurants within 200m.

Cons: Air conditioning only in one bedroom. Was a fan in other one but felt a bit mislead.

Pros: Spacious, clean, comfortable flat with a well-equipped kitchen and other amenities. The view from the balcony was wonderful. All the appliances worked well, and there were kitchen supplies like a sponge and dish soap, which we did not expect. The location is also worth highlighting, as we were very near to tour pickup spots and the city center, while also being in proximity of a supermarket, which was convenient.

Cons: It was slightly difficult to locate the building entrance. Google Maps had one location, whereas on Booking there was another location. Ultimately, we got information from the host that the entrance is near the Santander bank, which was precise enough to wait for the host to give us keys.

Pros: Perfect location for all Funchal has to offer. The apartment is very comfortably furniture with modern furnishings and clean lines. The smart TV has a number of apps including Netflix and Amazon Prime. The bedrooms are spacious and the bed’s are very comfortable. Lots of wardrobe space.. The balcony is very spacious and has nice views out to sea. Easy access to restaurants amenities and local transport. The building has a good security system with elevator access to all floors.

Cons: The main thing for us was it did not have a dishwasher which I think is now fundamental in modern day living. There was no welcome pack of primary cleaning materials,such dishwasher liquid. Which most companies provide. However they did provide a sponge and a glass cleaning cloth. My only other suggestion would be to take note and replace the toilet brush in the main bathroom.

Pros: Super beliggenhed med dejlig balkon syd / vest vendt. God indretning af lejligheden.

Cons: Skøn balkon, men ikke helt så velholdt og ren som resten af lejligheden. Kunne have brugt en parasol og en opvaskemaskine.

Cons: Las fundas de las almohadas estaban amarillas, sucias, Los cojines tambien para lavar. Había humedad en un baño y olía a cañerías.
