Would highly recommend to stay in this complex in funchal!

Pros: The location is excellent - 5min walk from the city center, nice apartment, exceptional big, new furniture and building, private parking inside the complex

Cons: It could have a little more dishes and stuff to cook. Its clean but could be more precised at some points

Lovely location to stay in Funchal

Pros: The 2 bed apartment was lovely. Sunshine all day on a very spacious balcony. It's in a very secure, nice building in the old part of Funchal. Really near a great shopping centre, very near the centre of Funchal, lovely sea view, really comfortable bed. Staff were friendly & helpful. I got to check-in early which was super helpful as I had lots of baggage. Great experience overall. Nice & quiet, peaceful apartment. Housekeeping lady was lovely, unfortunately I don't know her name. Teresa and Andre, two of the staff were friendly, dealt with all my queries and added to the overall positive experience.

Cons: I was cooking in the apartment so a couple of more pots would have been a bit better. I didn't bother to ask for more, it was fine. If I'd asked, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they met my request. Taxi drivers seem to have a small problem in finding the building as it's a residential block. If you say it's across the street from The British Cemetery and the convent and beside Motard's Madeira - a biker's club, then they'll find it no problem. Also there's parking spaces in front of the biker's club, not in front of Carreira Residence. Tell that to the taxi driver too and you'll have no problems.
