Viewpoint Machico - Lovely Nature View

Pros: perfect location for us, quiet surrounding, lot of green - flowers, trees around. nicely furnished and equipped with taste. very friendly host with good tips for eating and facilities in the neighbourhood. good view and a small convenient terrace. the airport nearby did not disturb much.

Pros: The apartment is nicely located at the top of the mountain with the sea view. You can find anything you need in the apartment, it is ready to live. It is spacious and pleasantly decorated.

Cons: I didn't enjoy the interaction with the host. First they didn't send any messages before I was texting being on my way to the apartment and having no instruction how to enter. Then I was asked at what time I would prefer to check out and I said 11, they replied that actually I should do it at 10 and they will come to check. It made me run away at 9 haha

Calm, beautiful, spaceous

Pros: Located in a nice area with view to a beautiful garden and the ocean. It is 5 minutes by car from the airport and has free parking. There’s a cute old dog to welcome you, who is living in the building. Zélia is a nice host, easy to communicate and has program and restaurant recommendations. The bed is comfortable, kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The terrace is perfect to start or to end the day with a nap, and has windows in case of bad weather.

Great apartment

Pros: the apartment is in a great position to visit the east part of the island and it’s closed to the airport. it’s a great apartment, big and with everything you could need. has a parking spot right outside, we never had trouble finding parking

Cons: the outside of the building is not well-kept, but that was not a big problem to us

Pros: Our flight from Funchal back to the UK was cancelled due to bad weather, meaning that we had to find overnight accommodation. By the time we reached the accommodation it was dark and we were absolutely exhausted. Our host Zelia took the trouble to drive to the apartment and to help us with the key safe and our luggage. Pros: Great value, clean and comfy appartment with a good shower and great kitchen facilities.

Pros: Really beautiful apartment. Near to AirPort. It’s not big but for to adults and a child it’s perfect.

Cons: If going with taxi carefully need to check address, we arrived at wrong address twice.

Cool place to stay

Pros: The place has everything that You need and is very comfortable. Cool extra room for the kid :)

Cons: Be aware that a walk to Machico centre is quite challenging. If You have a car then location is not a problem.
