wonderful & spaceuous sunrise apartment, with a little mountain walk u're in Machico

Pros: wonderful view of the sea very quiet & peaceful (aside from the planes but there are few and it's really okey) the sunrise comes right in the room and there is sun all day on the balcony

Cons: the kitchen & bathroom are quite basic but are fine the lights are bright white, so if u want cosiness in the evening, it might be good to bring some candles or your own little lamp

Pros: The host was so kind! He gave us bananas from his house, they were delicious! He was very welcoming and met with us when we checked in and gave us the keys. Very friendly. He gave us some history about Madeira as well! The apartment was perfect! It has all the utilities a home needs and more! It was Comfortable and the balcony was amazing with a lot of light coming in. The AC was perfect for the hot nights in August.

Very well equipped appartment with everything one could need

Pros: Very well equipped appartment but away from the port. There is everything one could need - a fridge, a kettle, an electric hob, fully equipped kitchen, even a washing machine.

Cons: The first impression was bad and we even felt like leaving because the block of appartments (the house) seemed to be dirty and badly atended. But the appartment is fine. It is far from the centre which is not a problem in case of having a car. We have to call the landlord to get the keys.

Relaxing

Pros: Beautiful view with a very charming place itself, had all the comforts a little place needs. Staff was really kind, recommend if you want a peaceful little vacation with the possibility of going hikes and quickly travel to the city of machico too

Pros: The view was nice, specially for having a morning coffee on the terrace. :)

We were very satisfied with staying in Gois apartamento and we would recommend it to our friends.

Pros: Locationa and the host are great. Most necessities for everyday life are there. Love the view. Content for the price is great and I would recommend it.

Cons: The only thing I didnt like was the couch as it described for sleeping for 2 people. And yes 2 people can fit, but its pretty old and used, so it is a bit uncomfy.

Good short stay in good location

Pros: The apartment is spacious, has a large terrace, convenient for watching the planes take off and land at Madeira airport. The noise from the planes is felt, but there are no departures at night. There is a large supermarket nearby. The location is ideal as a starting point for a tour of the island.

Cons: The meeting with the host took place several kilometers from the apartment, which was strange. The sofa bed was not prepared for the two children we were traveling with. The sheets were dirty. There was no bin in the bathroom.

Pros: Amazing view from the terrace a nearby airport is an entertainment as you can watch the departures /arrival drinking coffe.

Cons: That I had to go home :)

Short stay in Madeira

Pros: The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook meals during our stay. The view from the balcony was lovely, overlooking the ocean. The host seemed very nice and responsive, and even picked us up from the airport and showed us around a bit upon arrival. Location wise, this is relatively close to town. A taxi or Bolt generally cost 5 to 8 Euros. There is also a trail down to town but this would only be appropriate for surefooted people who are not scared of heights. There is a bus stop directly by the building that goes all the way to Funchal. The airport is also very close by.

Cons: No complaints.
