Spot Matur Apartment

Spacious, pleasant and fully equipped apartment. combining tradition and modernity. Felt like home.

Pros: The host was extremely kind and welcoming. He picked us up from the airport and brought us to the apartment, where a surprise was waiting for us. The apartment was cosy, fully equipped and very pleasant. Even without a car, we could travel around the whole island, because there is a bus stop just outside the building and Machico can be easily reached on foot via a path.

Pros: The apartment has everything you need and more for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the location, which is close to the airport, Funchal, and just a short drive from several great hikes. The host was very kind, helpful, and quick to respond. He made our day by surprising us with some fresh fruit.

Cons: The only downside is the noise from the nearby airport. Light sleepers might have some issues, however, it didn’t bother us too much, as we got used to it.

Pros: Great location close to the highway and supermarket. Lots of privacy. Host is great and let us check out late because we had a evening flight.

Pros: Het appartement is groot, schoon, zeer compleet, met een fijn bed en op een geweldige locatie. En parkeren is geen probleem.

Cons: Niets

Pros: La casa é molto accogliente e piacevole. La posizione é bella. L’host é fantastico ci ha accolto con gioia ed é stato gentile per tutto il soggiorno. Molto piacevole come cosa. Ci tornerei solo per lui. Siamo stati accolti con una piccola torta locale, biscottini ed una birra. Sono piccole cose che cambiano molto.

Cons: Nulla. Forse un piccolissima “ammodernamento” ma la casa é dotata di tutto.
