Pros: Wonderful location, close to cafes,bars, beach, easy drive to visit Funchal, easy to get to some of the Levada walks too. The view from the villa is beautiful, perfect for sunsets! We loved it and communication with Rita was perfect!

Very nice stay, easy communication with the host and great location! However, the house needs the mentioned improvements

Pros: Location and the kind check in, very friendly people

Cons: - missing some blackout curtains in bedrooms as it gets very light in summer so it's hard to sleep - mattresses and pillows needs to be replaced, our backs are feeling quite sore - extra towels would be good - showers did not warm up so we had cold showers everyday, that was the painful point of our stay.

Beautiful apartment in a great location!

Pros: The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed (I.e., towels, beach towels, extra blankets, kitchen items). The location was great; less than 5 min walk to row of restaurants, and less than 10 to the beach. It is also located close to a small grocery store and pharmacy. The staff who greeted us was lovely and checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything.
