Casa dos Terços by An Island Apart

A wonderful stay in one of the most beautiful areas, with friendly locals.

Pros: This is one of the most beautiful spots in Madeira. The outside is genuinely breathtaking. The house is gorgeous, and has bigger than the pictures give it credit. We had instant help from the staff at “An Island Apart” whenever it was required (big thanks to Linda!) We also got to meet the lady who looks after the garden who was so lovely and welcoming.

Cons: Finding the house was difficult. GPS can’t quite decide where it is situated from the address that’s given.

Perfect holiday home at it‘s price, recommended!

Pros: We were 3 people and stayed here for 12 days and had a perfect holiday. The house has everything we needed. We especially loved the beautiful garden where you can relax in the sun and sea breeze . Linda, the gardener and girls of the cleaning team are all very friendly. There is a small store and a cafe within a short walk where you can get your daily necessities. There are also restaurants within a few minutes' walk, which is very convenient.

Cons: To reach the house you need to drive through a narrow road (after a few days on the island you won't find it narrow anymore;) ). There were some insects in the room, like ants. But after contacting Linda, the girls from the cleaning team came and cleaned it up quickly. The double bed is indeed small and would be comfortable for just one person.

Pros: Excellent house with great kitchen equipment, calm area with beautifill ocean view, close to the grocery store. Rooms with very comfortable beds, great common leaving room to spend time together if weather is not great. Beautifull garden, nice terrace to sit outside. Location is wrong settled in Google maps but the host guide us how to drive with any problems (+ free parking spot outside the house)

Cons: Worth to think about grill and some sun beds. WiFi doesn't work well. Unfortunately there are no available accesses to the nearest beach due to the detached cliff.

Pros: The views, the place is absolutely beautiful everything was really perfect and peaceful a beautiful house, and the neighbours were super friendly and helpful

Cons: The rooms have furniture that can be removed to give more space. The beds could be bigger and more comfortable A better description on how to get to property especially of checking in late as we did as its not easy to find, maybe more signs as it is a remote area and we checked in late but apart from that the house is really beautiful cannot complain as its worth the value of property.

Pros: All as you would expect from country house. Not modern, but clean, silent in good location with nice view.

Cons: Double beds are really small according to standards of these times. This was the only struggle I had.

Pros: Bardzo spokojna, przyjemna okolica, jednocześnie blisko do wszystkich miejsc na Maderze. Miejsce parkingowe pod samym domem, polecamy!

Pros: Sehr schöne Lage, der Garten ist top, Haus in sehr sauberem Zustand vorgefunden

Cons: Leider feuchter Geruch

Paradisiaque, tranquille, serein, et mémorable.

Pros: Les vues. La localisation. La surface. Le côté maison traditionnelle de la maison.

Cons: Le point le plus négatif : la mauvaise localisation google. Pour info : la maison se trouve à la 1ère à droite après la pharmacie, soit \

Mooie rustige woning met prachtig uitzicht

Pros: Prachtig uitzicht over zee en bergen Rust Veel mogelijkheden om buiten te zitten Op laatste dag werd ook een eettafel buiten geplaatst

Cons: Bed - Hard matras Huis binnen is verouderd en mist wat comfort

Pros: La maison avec ses équipements un peu vieillots mais avec beaucoup de charme.
