Villa Alta Vista

Pros: This accomodation was just perfect. We stayed in a family studio, it was spacious and bright. I especially loved the sunny balcony in the morning with the view at the sea. The garden which you can freely use is lovely with swings, table tennis and barbecue and uses the water from a very nice levada do Rei which is 5 mins drive. We appriciated a great Madeira wine, flowers from the garden and fresh fruit and vegetables from the owner, who is also very nice. If you want to stay among locals and feel the local atmosphere, I highly recommend this place.

Pros: Everything!! This was my favorite place in Madeira. You get here a spotless place, fully equipped kitchen (and grill!) and most importantly - an amazing host. Will definitely go again

Cons: That I didn't stay more nights here

Ideal place if you have a car

Pros: The host is very helpful, friendly and obsessed with the quality of people's sttay The place is quite and with the perfect view

Perfect, quiet place and great base for the exploration of the island

Pros: At the arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner, he showed us the apartment which was decorated with flowers from the garden, there was bowl of exotic fruits also from their garden, Madeira wine and sugar cane biscuits. The apartment is equipped with washing machine, and owners left some detergent, which was great because we travelled light and otherwise we would have to buy the big pack. Also, the view is great!

Cons: Dishwasher would be great, especially because the sink is quite small.

Beautiful, comfortable stay

Pros: It was very comfortable, and has a great location! The garden apartment has a great view and everything you need. The host is also so kind and helpful.

Cons: Nothing!

Great apartment in Sao Jorge.

Pros: Great apartment with everything you need. Superb view. Very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend.

So please we chose this villa. It’s and the host were amazing 10/10

Pros: It was very cozy with everything we needed and more. Very clean and well equipped. The location was excellent for a base with the the hiking we did. We received a welcome gift and a fruit basket from the owners own garden. Very thoughtful.

Cons: There is nothing I didn’t like about this property

Amazing spot to unwind

Pros: The flat was very spacious with a gorgeous view on the garden and the ocean. Everything was done with attention to detail and very clean. The host is very friendly and we felt very welcomed.

Pros: Perfect cleanliness, great location close to viewpoint, great view on garden / ocean / sunrise, very well-kept garden, comfortable parking place (not so obvious on Madera), spacious apartment equipped in anyhing you need, comfortable bed, towels and linen fresh and clean, host very polite and friendly but unobtrusive :) Perfect place to rest, thank You for our stay!!

Relaxing stay with super friendly owners.

Pros: Beautiful garden with so much growing in it. Welcome gift from owner of fruit, dahlias from his garden, some Madeira wine and sugar cane cookies were a lovely touch. The property is a fair walk (20+ mins from restaurants) though only 5 mins or less in a car. It’s easy to park there and generally beautiful views around the place.

Cons: Tiny shower but to be honest that is a niggle. This place is a great spot for basing yourself if you want to do day walks, outings etc.
