Cons: Small room with little space if more than 1 person

Pros: Super nice location right in the middle of everything, close to the sea, restaurants and shops. However, if you happen to be there on public holidays, you may hear a lot of noise at nights if there are celebrations (there was a concert right below my window on Dec 30 that started at 10 pm and turned into a dancing party that had still not finished when I was leaving to the airport at 2 am). It was easy with the access by code, and also not difficult to find the location.

Cons: There was a musty odour in my room and it felt humid, not sure if the ventilation works as it should. Keeping the window open helped, but then you get all the noise in (and it's a lively place)...

Pros: We had a great stay at this property. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was very convenient, with easy access to shops and public transport. The host was friendly, responsive, and helpful during our stay. Everything we needed was provided. We would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.

Pros: •\tGreat and central location - cafe, restaurants, the ocean and the beach right next to it. •\tIt was surprisingly quiet when we closed the window - great job with that! •\tEasy check-in, they send you message for code for the door outside and also for your room •\tDidn’t meet the personal, but via the messages we exchanged they all seemed very nice •\tClean and modern room with comfortable bed and pillows •\tFast internet

Cons: •\tThe room had a slight musty smell no matter how long we let the window open •\tTowels smelled musty after using them •\tVery small room with limited space for luggage •\tParking not included (we found free street parking near the House of Music of Machico, ~8 minutes away on foot)

Pros: Modern small but comfy room. It was nice to get treats left for us like wine, cookies and water. Very central location, few steps from the beach

Cons: There was an issue with online self checkin, link didn’t work and we spend some time to contact the host to get inside.

Pros: I am a fussy traveller; therefore, it’s important for me to stay in clean and comfortable accommodation. I need to travel to Machico from time to time; therefore, comparison to other accommodations, Machim D Arfet is my first choice. Some accommodations do not offer toiletries and a hair dryer, but MDA does. Including coffee & tea. I love the tranquility of this hotel. You will only hear the noise when you open the window because the room is soundproof. There's AC in the room. My stay this time was only for 3 days, and to my surprise the hotel offered a complimentary change of towels. I had enjoyed staying here again! 10/10. Hopefully, on my next trip, I'll get to book MDA again.

Cons: The mirror in the bathroom fogs up after each shower. I had to wait till it was cleared. A large mirror on the wall (in the room) would be perfect.

Pros: The place is perfectly located in the little town center, windows are so good it blocks out the street noise.

Pros: The property was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, close to everything. Host was extremely kind, attentive, and always easy to reach.

Cons: In the evenings there could be a bit of noise from the restaurants nearby
