Villa Nova Madeira in Funchal Casa A and B

Amazing, convenient and great price.

Pros: Location was amazing 3 minute drive to madeira shopping, or 10 minutes into funchal. At night sitting in the hot tub just looking over at the view was fantastic, and during the day when the sun beams down its nice to sunbathe.

Cons: Layout of the property can be a bit funny, as if you're in the back bedroom you do need to walk through the other bedroom to get to the living room or kitchen, however said this there is doors to every room with keys so you could go through to outside to allow privacy. We didn't need to do this but could be an option.

Pros: Lovely property, great location and very helpful staff!

A very nice stay despite few minor nuisances

Pros: I stayed in the smaller house of the two. It's located in the middle of banana plants in quite calm neighborhood and with nice view on the sea, valley and the mountains. Still reasonably close to Funchal center (driving distance) and in close proximity to shopping mall, should you need anything. The bedroom is pretty comfortable with a large bed. Kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook. Jacuzzi is a nice addition.

Cons: As some other reviewers mentioned, there's a smell from the kitchen cabinet (but fortunately it doesn't really propagate as long as it's closed). The coffee machine is some non-standard, no-name model, for which I failed to find pods in several different stores. Few little things are broken, like the light switch in the lower bathroom.

Pros: Quiet place, great view, big house, private parking, working jacuzzi, fully equiped kitchen, close to Funchal and bus station

Cons: Nada

Très bien dans l' ensemble.

Pros: La localisation assez centrale, la vue, le jacuzzi et l' espace disponible. 2 salles de bain. La literie.

Cons: Accès en voiture compliqué (mais on s'y fait, sauf si grosse voiture). L' humidité à l' intérieur du logement (je vous conseille de faire tourner le déshumidificateur, nous vidions le bac deux fois par jour mais c'est nettement mieux après). Les insectes (papillons, chenilles noires et moustiques), c'est le plus gros point noir (peut être lié à la proximité des champs de bananes juste à côté?).

Pros: Posizione, struttura della casa e spazio all’aperto

Cons: la parte esterna era al sole ma l’ombrellone era rotto, rendendo difficile stare all’aperto nel pomeriggio. Nulla di grave in quanto tornavamo giusto per cambiarci

Pros: Lokacija, narava, razgled, jacuzzi (bolje bi bila hladna voda), vse čisto.

Cons: Da posrednik ureja bivanje in ne lastnik. Telefonska st. od lastnika je pa na booking. Dostop z avtom je tezak

Pros: Villetta indipendente dove potersi rilassare a fine giornata. La vasca idromassaggio è un plus, la vista è bellissima. La casa ha tutto quello che serve e a meno che non si soggiorni ad agosto la mancanza di condizionatore non si è sentita (sarebbe utile averlo giusto per togliere un po’ di umidità che si crea).

Cons: L’accesso alla casa avviene tramite una discesa molto ripida e stretta. Se non si ha molta dimestichezza alla guida conviene lasciarla in cima.

Schöne Unterkunft mit viel Platz und einer traumhaften Lage!

Pros: Wir konnten uns per WhatsApp mit dem Vermieter abstimmen, was das Treffen sehr flexibel gemacht hat. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Wer es ruhig mag und den Meerblick genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Die Lichter der Stadt am Abend, runden den Ausblick noch ab. Die einzelnen Zimmer sind miteinander verbunden, es gibt keinen Flur. Aber dafür hat jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad, so dass auch zwei Pärchen ihren eigenen Bereich haben können. Jeder Raum hat eine schöne Holztür (mit kleinem Fenster) nach draußen, so dass man nicht immer durch alle Räume gehen muss, um in die Küche zu gelangen. Wir haben uns mit dieser Lösung trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt.
