A Stay I'll Never Forget

Pros: The house was phenomenal and my stay here was the hilight of my whole trip. One of the hosts greeted me warmly and gave me a tour of the place as well as all the information needed like bus stops etc. The house was absolutely beautiful- every window had a gorgeous view of the ocean and the city of Funchal. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need from various kitchen utensils, a hairdryer, and even mosquito repellent. The balcony off the bedroom and the terrace on the roof was a highlight for me, I spent my mornings with a coffee watching the sunrise and my evenings with a glass of wine watching the sunset. The area surrounding is quiet and safe with a lovely cafe a short walk away. It was an easy 20 minute walk downhill to the city center, but too steep for me going up- but a Bolt back never cost me more than €5. I truly loved every minute I spent in this place and am so grateful to the hosts for letting me enjoy their place that is clearly cherished by their family.

Pros: The views from the balcony were what made my stay. It was a beautiful peaceful place to use as a base.

Comfy, relaxing and wonderful view

Pros: Very comfy, great location, quiet and wonderful view. Safe parking in front. Super facilities. Best view in town for Saturday night firework competition!

Pros: The house was very clean, very good location with good views. Hosts nice and accommodating:)

Cons: My only complaint would be that there weren't many light sockets in the house, so for cooking I had to use one electronic at a time (can't make toast at the same time as coffee or using the microwave for example) but that's about the only negative!

The perfect property to explore Madeira.

Pros: Such a beautiful property. The host is so kind and gave us alot of information to about Madeira, and spoke enough english so that we knew what he was saying. The property was very spacious and relaxing, and had the most incredible view. It also had a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and airer which came in very handy. It was also only a 15 minute walk to the heart of Funchal, all down hill, and there was a €1.85 bus back up to a really close bus stop so location was superb.

Cons: The shower wasn’t the best and the temperature faulted alot, but that is the only flaw of this accommodation.

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at this place. The host was very helpful and friendly. He met me to hand over the keys and shared a number of suggestions to explore Madeira. The place itself was great - excellent rooms and views.

Cons: Some facilities could have been better - the shower in the bathroom, for example, can be much better - it has a rubber pipe that gets bunched up and restricts water pressure.

Fabulous views over the city

Pros: Wonderful outside space, great views comfortable bed, kitchen had a two burner stove, microwave, fridge freezer and coffee maker. It was a easy 30 minute walk to Funchal and there was a regular bus service back. It's a steep walk uphill.

Cons: The shower bracket did not hold the shower - we had to improvise with elastic bands. The address given is incorrect the house is 25 D not 25.

Pros: The house is nice and cosy. LOVED the terrace and the stunning view from there! The house have pretty everything you may need during your stay. AND! I may sound like a weirdo, but the house smells SO good! Aroma diffusers in my room were AMAZING! I even took the foto of the bottles, so maybe I will buy them to my own house too 😅

Pros: Overall very good accommodation, the views are astonishing! The owners are very great and helpful.

Pros: The location is excellent, close to old town and ocean. The view is beautiful. The house has everything you need for a few days stay.
