Chalé do Areeiro

Pros: We had absolutely great time (nine days) at this place. Excellent location. Funchal is within few minutes’ drive or max. 10 EUR by Uber. Up to 1hr drive to majority of the popular touristic spots. Comparable distances to the farthest places in the east and west of the island. Great view of the ocean from the balcony and window. Comfortable setting. Easy communication with the helpful owner. Great value for the fair price.

Cons: I can't think of anything worth mentioning. The comments in the other reviews about the noise from the street and 'difficult' garage were in our opinion exaggerated.

Pros: Beautiful location with sea views! Helpful host. Short walk to the beach with bars and restaurants, and bus stop nearby to get to town centre.

Beautiful view from the balcony - perfect for the NY fireworks.

Pros: Easy to find, great communication with the owner. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Washington machine available.

Pros: Bardzo ładny domek, super lokalizacja, wspaniały widok z tarasu i ona jednej z sypialni. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem, mogę z czystym sumieniem polecić ten obiekt.

Pros: Przytulny domek, w sam raz dla rodziny lub grupki znajomych. Czysto, pachnące ręczniki, wyposażony w najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy, łącznie z pralką i zmywarką. Największy atut - taras z pięknym widokiem, idealny na śniadanie i na ponche wieczorem. Położony w spokojnej okolicy, ale przy jednej z głównych ulic, niektórym może przeszkadzać ruch uliczny rano, ale zdecydowanie bardziej słychać szum fal. 3 minuty spacerem do tawerny, 5 do restauracji, kilkanaście na plażę i do większego sklepu, 10 metrów od przystanku autobusowego linii 01, prowadzacej bezpośrednio do centrum. Bardzo pomocny i sympatyczny gospodarz.

Pros: La situation géographique du chalet, face à la mer, assez près du centre de Funchal. Et une belle promenade depuis le chalet jusqu'au tunnel et la marina d'un côté et de l'autre jusqu'au joli petit port de camara de lobos. Les couchers de soleil depuis la terrasse, et même les dauphins.

Un vrai plaisir !

Pros: Proche de funchal. La vue est belle , la maison est propre , la communication facile avec Alexandre le propriétaire.

Cons: Le stationnement n'est pas facile et la route très passante et bruyante mais pas un problème pour nous . Pour les personnes au sommeil léger attention au bruit !

Pros: Terasa s fantastickým výhledem, klid ale přitom blízkost města na nakupování pěšky, řada restaurací v okolí, autobusová zastávka hned před domem. Zařízení domu není luxusní, ale vše je funkční a vše bylo čisté. V domě bylo vše potřebné včetně myčky, pračky, kávovaru, toastovače apod.

Cons: V zadní ložnici hlavně ráno trochu ruší poměrně frekventovaná ulice za domem, ale není to nic zásadního.

Pros: Прекрасний вид на океан . Господар вирішив наші проблеми - було аномально холодно і він привіз нам додаткові ковдри. Можливо оновлення помешкання було б позитивом.

Fantastisch!!

Pros: De ruimte in het huis, het was van alle gemakken voorzien. Elke ochtend wakker worden met het geluid van de golven. Eigen parkeerplaats aan een drukke weg maar heel goed te doen. Onze zoons hebben aan de straatkant geslapen en geen last gehad van het drukke verkeer. 2 fantastische restaurants op loopafstand ( Beer Garden en Aconchego) bestel vooral de locale gerechten. Het huisje is een fantastische uitvalsbasis om het prachtige Madeira te ontdekken.

Cons: Geluid straat kan vervelend zijn, wij hadden alleen maar mooi weer maar bij slecht weer kan ik me voorstellen dat het huis fris kan zijn.
