We will be back and recommend for friends

Pros: We spent 9 nights in January and had no what to complain. In the kitchen you have basic needs for first days like coffee, tea, sugar, oil, some seasonings. You will see what you need more. Very comfortable beds and a lot of blankets. We were caught in a rainy week, it was damp, but there were 3! heaters in the house and that really helped. Beautiful view from second floor window. I don't know about cafes nearby, we made food by ourselves.

Cons: Don't leave any crumbs on the table, otherwise the ants will come running. Remove the wicker tablecloth from the table where crumbs will remain, don't left toothpaste on sink, ants also like it, and everything will be fine. Enjoy nature!

Excellent stay in beautiful Ponta do Sol

Pros: We enjoyed our stay in Gorete’s property in Ponta do Sol. Gorete and her daughter were very kind hosts and greeted us on arrival with a big bowl of regional fruits eggs and freshly baked cakes. Gorete even helped us with contacts of a car rental company which we found very helpful. The property had all the amenities we needed including a well equipped kitchen. The property is very clean and well maintained. We found the location ideal as a base to tour Madeira.

Cons: The shower needed a bit of fine adjustments, as it got very hot or very cold while turning the handle.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The hosts are very kind and responsive. They gave us bottles of wine and water, Madeira cake, and fruit — it was really amazing; not all accommodations do that. Thanks a lot for that! There is a place to park. The pillows were not very comfortable for us, a little too firm, but it wasn’t a big issue — we slept like babies. The house is not very well insulated, but at night there is nobody around, so it’s very quiet and we could sleep with the windows open. We highly recommend this apartment!!!

A wonderful place to base ourselves on an adventure holiday around Madeira with everything you could need 🥰

Pros: More than enough room for the two of us! Very clean and a fully equipped kitchen. Quiet neighbourhood with an allocated space. Very generous welcome gifts when we arrived at the property and the most wonderful host.

Cons: Not a real big issue for us but bear in mind that it is quite from the town and as anywhere else in Madeira, quite a climb up some steep hills.

Had a really generous owner living next door who regularly gave us fresh produce

Pros: It was very clean & everything we needed was provided

Cons: Not so keen on the living room as there was no window looking out but this was compensated for by an excellent room upstairs to sit in.

Pros: Very friendly and easy going landlady. 10 + The house is clean and spacious, has everything you may need. Parking is available. It is located a bit away from restaurants and shops, you need a car to go mostly anywhere and everywhere. We saw bus stoped at the entrance of the house, but are not sure how often and when/where the bus runs.

Cozy, comfortable and feel at home!

Pros: The landlady was fantastic and very accommodating. We had to check in early and she made it happen. She also greeted us well and made us feel at home. She offered us eggs from her chucks, banana and avocado grown by her and Pastel de nata. The property was very spacious and clean! Loved it!

Pros: The accommodation was great. We were welcomed by a wonderful landlady who gave us information and recommendations about Madeira. We received Madeira bananas and other goodies as a welcome. The accommodation provides everything you need, including parking space and outdoor seating.

Pros: Everything was great, we enjoyed our week in Madeira very much. The host was very kind, I definitely recommend to stay here when you are visiting Madeira.
