Lovely!
Pros: A wonderful place full of positive energy. It’s a hotel with soul — it has its years, but the owner’s hospitality makes you feel at home right away. Great contact with the owner. The rooms are spacious and clean, with hot water, a beautiful view from the window, and free street parking right by the property. The breakfasts are amazing — delicious and with a wide variety of choices. They always remembered what we liked to drink, which was such a nice touch. You’re treated like a truly welcome guest. The location is a perfect base for exploring the northern part of Madeira. But the best part of this stay is Bento and his sister — two sweet dogs who are the most charming hosts. I already miss them. 🐶❤️
Cons: The hotel has its years, and there are very few power outlets in the room, so we had a bit of trouble charging our laptop and other devices. The room was quite cold (we stayed in November), but there were warm duvets and cozy blankets, as well as hot water available. It doesn’t have modern furniture or décor, but it has a great atmosphere — and these are exactly the kind of places worth staying in.

Excellent holidays in subtropical paradise in family and cordial atmosphere of the hotel.
Pros: Very fresh and tasty breakfast; the amount of food would be enough for breakfast +lunch + dinner; the hotel stuff always packs for you the leftover of your breakfast (bread, butter, jam, fruits etc.). The hotel manager Paulo Dos Santos provided all info about places to be visited around (map, bus time schedules, info about shops and bus stops etc.). The hotel stuff provided all what you need (plates, glasses, spoons, tea, coffee, tee can, honey etc. If you need something extra I think they will provide it too). Flexible system of payment. All Stuff is quite kind, friendly and helpful. Good place for family holidays.
Cons: Relatively far from the capital, the city of Funchal (ca. 2 hours by bus); busses go rarely in Christmas period, you better rent a car. Not many historical places to see directly in Ponta Delgada SV, but a paradise for fans of exotic nature.

Pros: Nice staff, good breakfast (there is even the possibility to get a take away breakfast before 8). I could park right on the street in front of the lodge. Overall I had a great stay and the room is good value for money

Great value for money
Pros: We came for a one week active holiday. The owner was super helpful and friendly - there was no problem with gluten free or lacto free options for breakfast as well as with preparing food boxes in situations, where we had to leave early. Free parking on the street was no problem for us. Location of hotel is great if you want to explore whole island.
Cons: There is some humidity in a bathroom which stays whole day but it`s typical for the island so not much you can do. Beds could be more comfortable.

Pros: The owner is a great person that made our stay exceptional, ready to help, giving his vibe to your vacation. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast with fresh island fruit was a plus! Great location if you have your own transportation. See you again Paulo!

Pros: Nice location , very close to market ,atm and gas station. Small room but nice view behind in the fields. Quiet place , very nice and big amount of breakfast made to the need of every guest. Very friendly , polite and helpful owner...likes what he does !

Pros: I loved my stay at this property. The host was amazing and went above and beyond. Offered great advice about the island which helped me plan my days out. The breakfast is great and if I couldn’t make the breakfast as I was getting into activities early he made a great packed lunch with fresh fruit and fantastic sandwiches. The facilities had everything you needed and the property is great value for money. One thing to note is that Ponto Delgada is one of the quieter towns on the north side. There’s really only one walking distance restaurant which is Kare’s Cafe that does great burgers! If you want to try some good local spots 5-10 minutes drive away Penalti Snack Bar and Portadas Bar are amazing. This being said everything else you need is close, petrol station, supermarket and there’s ALWAYS PARKING. Overall I loved my stay and would 100% come back!

Pros: For me, the location is perfect, close to the levadas and other attractions on this side of the island. The breakfast is plentiful, very delicious and varied. The owner's attention to the guests is extremely good. The bed is comfortable, the room size is adequate. Quiet area, there is free parking.
