Lovely and very comfortable house next to natural sea pools
Pros: Next to the swimming pool (1km ?). Gifts when we arrived. Lovely house, very well equipped. Very nice sea view, etc, etc

Cons: Not good isolation for humidity and you should be careful to not leave food outside because of ants

Amazing Private House With Ocean View
Pros: We loved the views we got from every room in the house and also taking shower with a view of the Atlantic ocean is unforgettable. The kitchen was well equipped and the AC served well for heating up during the winter months. Parking is available just around the corner. The hosts prepared fruit upon our arrival, also some special fruit that looked like berries which we never saw before but it was delicious. Walking distance to the pools in Porto Moniz, also short drive to Fanal forest and levadas. Listening to the waves crashing on the rocks at night was a great way to fall asleep. Also having a washing machine and electric dryed was amazing as there was not much direct sunshine during the days in February to dry clothes outdoor. They also allowed us to have a later check out. We would gladly come back! Thank you for your hospitality family Ponte!
Cons: Tv was a bit outdated. It would have been great if the tv had Youtube or Netflix but that was just a minor thing and if you stay only for a few night you won't even notice it. 😉

Lovely stay
Pros: Absolutely enjoyed our time here. The place was spotless, well-kept, comfortable and had everything a person could need during their stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, including plenty of wine glasses, wine bottle opener, dishes, sharp knives etc. I thought the shower was nice, nice hot water and water pressure. Hooks to hang the towels. The accommodation is very spacious, private and we especially loved the terrace. Lovely fresh flowers in the living room and bedroom. And as others have mentioned, we were welcomed with plenty of gifts - wine, fresh fruit, eggs, cake, cookies and pool tickets. The tickets would not scan, but we gave them to the cashier who let us to the pools, so it worked out fine. We found no trouble parking near the property, there was always space on the road but we mostly parked in the small car park right around the corner. I really couldn't fault anything.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Fabulous accommodation for anyone who loves sea views, swimming, relaxing, sight seeing and steep hills.
Pros: Ponte House was way above our expectations. This clean, spacious, light filled house has fantastic views down to the sea front. It is well equipped and comfortable. Our welcome pack of fresh fruit, cake, biscuits and wine was perfect. It’s a short walk into town and the seafront and a slightly longer walk back up the steep hill! There’s free parking just a minutes walk from the house. We would thoroughly recommend Ponte House to anyone who doesn’t mind walking up and down steep hills.
Cons: On arrival, we made the mistake of driving up the very, very steep, narrow road which the house is on. Once we realised that we could park in the spaces on the main road this wasn’t a problem.

Huge nice house
Pros: It is a very nice house. A huge living room in the lower floor with a bathroom, a kitchen and a laundry room. 2 bedrooms in the upper floor with 2 bathrooms. On each floor a big balcony with sea view. Mr. Joao was very nice. We got a lot of presents: wine, fruits, sweets and entry tickets.
Cons: On our trip we had two very good accomodations. But Ponte House had a few disadvantages compared to our first flat: - quite close to the main road, so during the day it can be a little bit noisy - during the day it can be difficult to find a parking close by - the kitchen was not so well equipped: only one wine glass; no bottle opener - the shower was not so good - beds a bit small - quite late check in time and communication mainly in Portugese
