Excellent property if you have a rental car and looking for secure parking. Hosts very welcoming.
Pros: WhatsApp set up a couple of days prior to arrival then communicating on the actual day once arrived in Madeira.
Cons: A dishwasher would have been good, but adequate kitchen facilities.

Pros: Beautiful grand house, beds were comfy and there was lots of space. It's really well positioned close to loads of bars and restaurants and just a few minutes walk to the beach (where there is a bar that serves very good value cocktails which you can drink while you watch the sunset). Raquel was a lovely host and really helpful.

I would love to stay there again
Pros: Excellent villa, super nice host, prime location and own parking. Perfect for three couples or families. Easy access by car around the island.

We felt very much at home, it was hard to leave.
Pros: We loved the house, the garden. It was exactly like the pictures. The host is very kind, we got a lot of help for having a really good holiday. Everything was a minute away.
Cons: If you choose this house, you have to accept that this is not a quiet neighbourhood. You have to get used to the noise of the street and the constant ringing of the bells of the church next door.

Pros: Vila je velice útulná, čistá, plně vybavená. Vše je odtud kousek - pláž, obchod, lékárna. Ideální místo pro výlety po ostrově - ať jedete na východ, sever nebo západ, všude jste do 40 minut. Majitelka Raquel je naprosto skvělá, milá, stále měla zájem, je-li vše v pořádku, na dotazy odpovídala téměř okamžitě a ochotně. Když bylo potřeba, poradila, pomohla i když se to netýkalo přímo ubytování. Vilu mohu vřele doporučit!!!!
Cons: Někomu by mohl vadit nedaleko stojící kostel se zvonicí. Ale zvon zvoní pouze přes den od 7.00 do 21.00. Je to skvělý budíček. :)

Dit is de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een comfortable vakantie in Madeira.
Pros: De locatie was ideaal. Vlakbij het gezellige centrum, met allerlei winkels en restaurants en toch heel rustig dankzij de afscherming van de haag. Ook de parkeerplaats voor de auto is heel handig. Verder is het een prachtig huis, met voldoende ruimte, proper sanitair en een gezellige tuin met terras.
Cons: Ik kan niks bedenken.

Znakomite miejsce, świetna lokalizacja.
Pros: Lokalizacja w centrum miasta. Miejsce parkingowe na terenie obiektu. Duży i przestronny dom z pięknym ogrodem. Dobrze wyposażony. Łatwy dojazd do innych miejscowości na wyspie. Niedaleko plaża. Blisko kawiarnie i restauracje. Dobry kontakt z gospodarzami. Bardzo mili gospodarze. Raquel udzieliła nam wielu pomocnych wskazówek.
Cons: Nam to nie przeszkadzało, ale niedaleko znajduje się kościół i bicie dzwonów może powodować pobudkę.

Pros: Cudowne miejsce 😍Piękny, zadbany dom otoczony tropikalną roślinnością. Bardzo dużo miejsca. Dom wyposażony we wszystko, co jest przydatne na wakacjach, m.in ręczniki plażowe, pralka, murowany grill. Czuliśmy się jak w domu. Ribeira Brava jest uroczą niewielką mieściną bez tłumu turystów, w okolicy sklepy, restauracje, kafejki i targ z warzywami i owocami. Raquel-gospodyni jest bardzo pomocna i przemiła, przygotowała dla nas drobny poczęstunek i wyposażyła dom (w razie potrzeby) w grzejniki elektryczne. Na pewno wrócimy na Maderę i ponownie zatrzymamy się w Vila Luis Mendes

Perfect location, great value for money, would book again.
Pros: We spent lovely two weeks in Madeira and we are happy that we choose Vila Luis Mendes as our accommodation. It is located in a perfect starting spot for exploring Madeira. Whole island is within 1 hour drive at max. E,g, lava pools in Porto Moniz are about 40 minutes drive. Parking spot is spacey and easily accessible - just be aware you have to drive through \
Cons: One thing to keep in mind - we knew about this before booking, so it is just for transparency: - there is church nearby - you will hear the church bell from 7AM to 10PM - that is actually great if you need to get up for your next planned levada walk as we did, but don't expect to sleep in ;)
