Lovely apartment in a great location

Pros: The apartment is in a great location for exploring Funchal's old town. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a washing machine and a lovely roof terrace. The host was excellent with very clear communication and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in details were clear and we were able to check in at a convenient time. Everything was clean and well presented. We had a great time and would stay again.

Cons: The internet was poor in our room and could do with investing in AC rather than the fan but still a great stay :)

Excellent and comfortable apartment not far from the centre

Pros: Excellent apartment with walkable distance to town. José was very friendly and offered very clear check in instructions. Super handy having a washing machine

Cons: Fan was really loud even on lowest setting so if you are a light sleeper this might be an issue

Pros: Great location — close to the coast and right across from an affordable parking garage. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The rooftop terrace was a nice bonus.

Central location, comfortable stay

Pros: Really friendly host and the apartment is in such a nice location, great for the time of year that we went because in April it wasn't too hot so the fan provided worked just fine. Lovely and would definitely.book it again in future

A Warm Welcome and Exceptional Assistance!

Pros: We stayed at Apartamentos Progresso for 16 nights. Two days in advance, Hugo (our host) reached out to us to ensure we were informed about everything and to offer assistance if needed. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from Hugo, who provided exceptional help throughout the 18 days. He wasn’t just a great host, but also acted as a guide and assisted us in renting a car from a reliable company. The apartment was excellent! It was equipped with all necessary items for preparing basic meals, and everything was very neat. Our experience at Apartamentos Progresso was truly amazing, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Cons: A minor downside was that it was a bit warm. We were aware that the apartment didn’t have air conditioning, so it wasn’t a problem. However, to take the experience from a 10 to an 11, it might be worth considering installing an air conditioning unit in the future. Fortunately, there was a fan provided in the apartment.

It was a perfect stay to explore the island and relax.

Pros: The apartment was perfectly equipped and located. The host was amazing and gave us very good advice on what to do on the eiland tailored to our likes.

Cons: It was a bit hot, there was a very good fan but of course it made a lot of noise.
