Stunning hilltop apartment - great location and views!

Pros: Very close to the airport - we arrived 10 minutes after collecting our car. The apartment is very well connected to the rest of the island via motorway. It was spotlessly clean, well furnished and very comfortable for two people for a week. The balcony offers a great view of the sea and Desertas Islands. The hosts were a pleasure to meet and chat too. We would book again in an instant!

Cons: Not really negatives but worth mentioning for the review: The apartment was a little cold some evenings - would prefer to have a heater rather than additional layers of clothes but we understand this is typical for Madeira. The airport is close - there is some noise, however we did not find this intrusive and it was fascinating seeing the planes come and go!

Pros: an amazing cozy apartment with a huge terrace and a fantastic view of the ocean and the airport, or rather the landing planes (for plane fans TOP :-)... the hosts are incredibly nice and friendly - thank you both Fátima and José :-) communication ahead of time, everything they arranged and advised us during our stay, the apartment is excellently equipped, the kitchen and bathroom have everything you need, and the terrace with a view is simply luxurious! private car parking almost right next to the door of the house, a shop within 5 minutes, Santa Cruz as a destination was overall a pleasant surprise, a small village, great peace, a good starting point for trips... I don´t know what to say next..just book it! ;-)

Cons: there is absolutely nothing to complain about!! ;-) maybe just that the property is not mine :-)

A perfect combination between an excellent accommodation and a beatiful trails.

Pros: Excellent accommodation, spacious, clean, equiped and with a gorgeous view. Exceptional staff, welcoming and very nice. Totally recommend.

A great stay at Madeira

Pros: Wonderful place with beautiful views! The hosts were super kind and helpful and easy to reach. We especially loved the terrace! We will be coming back for sure. :)

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Miradoro. The place is extremely nice furnished and has an amazing view on the ocean. The terrace surrounds the appartment so you always find a spot to sunbathe or shelter from wind. The place was very clean and it smelled really nice like fresh laundry. Very helpful owner who gave us a few tips for the area.

Cons: Nothing. Yes, you can hear the airport, but what else to expect when booking in this area.

Pros: Probably the best place we have stayed with great facilities, a fantastic 360-degree view and a kind host.
