Casa Avô da Pedra

Pros: We were in Casa Avõ da Pedra as three generation family, 8 persons, for one week. Everyone was amazed of absolutely stunning views, specially when forming clouds, modern house and swimming pool. Sao Vicente is one of most magnificent towns in Madeira, with amazing view from Fatima Chapel and wonderful PR16 levada, town well connected to main roads, but all island is heaven on earth. Owner answer very fast to your needs, i fully recommend this property, garage for two car, specious rooms, three showers plus one outside, 6 sunbeds, friendly neighbourhood, regulated pool temperature, clear tap water to drink... Good price for overall value. Wish to stay longer 😎

Luxury house with swimming pool and great views

Pros: We were able to use the swimming pool even in February. Close to interesting hiking paths. Huge house in top condition as shown on the pictures. Two fully equipped kitchens, several bathrooms. The garage was very big, could probably fit 3 cars, there was also parking space in front of the house. We didn't use the outdoor grill but it was available next to the swimming pool. Heating from the air conditioning made it comfortable even in cold nights. The host was very nice and responsive. Bigger supermarket and restaurants are 15 min drive from the house (it would be a really long walk downhill). The houses nearby occupied by people from a small village. You can also buy some types of food from the cars which were coming daily.

Pros: Amazing property, everything was clean and comfortable , all items for cooking available in the house , washing machine and dryer is perfect for when travelling with small kids, pool temperature can be adjusted . Manager was super nice helped with check in and check out, have amazing tips to enjoy the island, always helpful!

Pros: Our stay was amazing! The place was super comfortable, and the view was absolutely stunning — we loved waking up to it every day. The house itself was beautiful, and everything was spotless and well-kept. The host was really friendly and made us feel welcome right from the start, always making sure we had what we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Pros: It was a lovely stay - spacious property, modern and lots of lovely views surrounding us. Pedro was easily contactable and very helpful throughout, made the check in and out process easy. We also got some useful recommendations of local shops and restaurants. The house itself is wonderful, comfortable rooms/bathrooms/living space, lots of modern amenities and easy to cook. The pool/outdoor area is lovely, includes space to barbecue!

Pros: I would love to say that this was the best stay. We go to Madeira about once every two years and this will definitely be our accommodation every time we come back. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. Thank you for everything.

Pros: We had an amazing time staying here. Super beautiful location, the view is breathtaking in any weather. Pedro was a supportive host, ready to help with anything we needed. The pool is another BIG point why you should pick this property. Overall we had an incredible experience and this place was a big part of it.

Pros: Beautiful house in the mountains, very quiet location, lots of space and great facilities. The kitchens leave plenty of space for cooking and outside by the pool you can barbecue with a view of the mountains. The host was very friendly, gave us great tips and we would love to come back.

Pros: De hoeveelheid ruimte en het verwarmde zwembad. Aardige host, die speciaal een nieuwe haarföhn kwam brengen omdat die andere kapot was.

Cons: Het was super kaal en niet gezellig ingericht. Twee keukens erg onpraktisch. Veel loze ruimtes. Als je wil koken ontbreken bv vergiet, houten snijplanken e.d. Tweepersoons bedden relatief klein.
