Goodfeeling is set on a 4,000-square-metre farm within the Southeastern Alentejo and Costa Vicentina National Park. It is 5 km from Portugal's West and South coast, a prime surfing spot among oceanic beaches. Guests of the Goodfeeling can relax in hammocks hanging under the veranda, or head to the orchard for yoga and shiatsu. Indoors you'll find chase long sofas, a fireplace, and a flat-screen Smart TV. It is possible to cook in the communal kitchen, featuring a different fridge per room to store groceries. Food can be eaten in the large dining room, a further chance for guests to meet and socialise. Accommodation is offered in dormitories and private rooms, both featuring shared bathrooms on the floor. Modern and chill place with pool

Pros: Modern hostel with a comfortable lounge and well-equipped kitchen.

Cons: A bit off track if walking the Fisherman’s trail but I didn’t mind the extra 15mins too much. If I’m being very picky, I would have loved a plug on the top bunk bed to charge my phone.

Pros: The accommodation was pleasant and clean. The common areas were nice, and the option of a shared dinner is a great idea. I had some health issues during my stay, and the staff were very kind and empathetic – I really appreciated their support.

Cons: For those walking the Fisherman’s Trail, it’s a bit out of the way, but I chose this accommodation with that in mind, so of course it’s not the hostel’s fault.

Superb

Pros: The evening meal was optional but was fantastic home cooked onsite . Onion and vegetable soup , followed by traditional clam and pork chowder , rice and mixed salad + generous helpings of vinho tinto (red wine) . For just 12€. Amazing food . Highly recommended to stay here.

Cons: Beds were mediocre, and the walls in the bungalows are thin so it can get noisy with dogs barking throughout the night. The pool area had no chairs and it wasn't very clean.
