Aldeia Caiçara Surf House

Excellent student hall vibes Surf House. Student Halls in the good sense!

Pros: The Surf House has a lovely atmosphere and it is kept very clean and the beds are comfortable and warm. The location is nice and quiet. Everyone I met - guests and volunteer staff was super friendly and community spirited. I liked the vibe in the house but, if you want to be in a quiet space this might not be the place for you because the community spaces and very close to the dorms and you can hear them from your room.

Cons: The hostel is well organised and run and I used their self check in feature. However, because I wasn't officially checked in by a person I didn't get to understand how the systems of the house operated or know that there were yoga mats to use or any of the details about the house. I think the hostel should make a second video showing guests where to store food in the kitchen, show them The Shack and the yoga mats and chill out space in there.

A great place

Pros: Lovely place a bit outside of the center but close enough to walk. It had a great vibe and everyone was very nice. I really appreciated the breakfast every morning as well as the garden. Bathrooms and kitchen were in good condition, WiFi was good, bed had curtains. When I wanted to stay longer and the dorms were booked they attended for arranged for a private room quickly.

Sad to only have stayed one night

Pros: Very homey feel, helpful staff, and homemaker chia pudding for breakfast

Pros: Kitchen very well equiped, friendly staff, many activities possible

Pros: Staff really friendly, room was nice & clean as the rest of the hostel.

Cons: Nothing. The only things i’ll add would be an outside shower for when you come from the beach or to refresh as is it really hot & also some outside chill out zone with shadow :)

One of the best surf house!

Pros: Amazing!!!I loved everything, one of the best surf house where I have ever been! I loved every single details of the house: the common areas, yoga deck, the garden, the community that let me feel at home! Breakfast and the volunteers were superbe too!

Exceptional and unique

Pros: First of all the staff. I had the pleasure of meeting Paula from Poland and Natalia from Brazil. They were ever so helpful and welcoming. The place, although geared mostly for surfers, is amazing. There is a certain vibe which makes one feel relaxed and friendly. There is everything one needs. My room had a desk, chair, closet, bedside tables with lamps, a tall mirror and towels. On the ground floor you have the reception, kitchen, more rooms, an outside area with hammocks, sofas, tables, a bar and sometimes music in the evenings.

Cons: Everything was great

Pros: Really well kept, good kitchen facilities and bedroom. Staff were really friendly and the group surf lesson were excellent a great way for our older teenagers to meet other people as well as really good quality with 1 instructor to no more than 5 students.

I had a brilliant staying in this hostel. I found new friends there and we had lot of fun. Stuff gave us recommendations

Pros: Comfortable beds, helpful stuff, amazing vegan friendly breakfast included in the price, nice garden with hammock, yoga mats, grass and hangers for your clothes. They are borrowing surfs but also skateboards. Kitchen was well equipped.

Cons: A bit further from the center/beaches but in the other hand there was calm night without noise from the bars and it is a nice walk too
