Residencial Greco

Will probably be back next time in Madeira!

Pros: The staff was great. Mainly the young girl at reception that was there at night, when we checked in. We talked with her a few times and she was honestly so great, giving recommendations as well. The room itself was SO big, and the beds were comfy.

Cons: The price is a bit much for what it is I would say, but based on the other hotels in the city, it's a good price. I guess it's just how it is in Madeira. The bread they have for breakfast is really bad, so much so it's worth even mentioning here. Don't cheap out as much on those please.

Pros: Nice view from balcony. It is mentioned that there is no internet in the room. Big room, big bathroom. Confy bed.

Cons: Bathroom could be upgraded to allow easier hand wash. Room had a missing wall lamp. Nothing that really prevented us from having a good stay.

Overall it was excellent, however, the check in timing did not adhered and changed the room.

Pros: Location is excellent and approachable for all city facilities.

Cons: The timings, cleanliness and breakfast are good but still there is room of improvements.

Convenient location in the city centre.

Pros: Polite staff, helps with all questions. Excellent location in the very center of the city. The rooms have everything you need, comfortable beds, there is a balcony.

Cons: If there was a small refrigerator in the room, it would be perfect. But the girl at the reception took my groceries to store in the fridge.

Really good hotel

Pros: Nice hotel. Cleaning and towel changing everyday. Comfy room. Perfect localization

Cons: No kettle in the room

Very stay for low budget money.

Pros: The perfect location. Middle of everything! Large room for 3 people. Balcony. Stuff. Supermarket and apotheka very near by.

Cons: Breakfast. Old looking room.

We actually spent quite a lot of time in our room and enjoyed being there.

Pros: We liked the location. The staff were very helpful and approachable and any difficulties were dealt with rapidly. The cleanliness was of an high standard. The curtains sufficiently strong to keep out unwanted light/noise.

Cons: Not so much ‘didn’t like’ as easy improvements. It would have been nice to have a cup/glass for toothbrush/drink. Also Wi-Fi access in the room. Several of the curtain hooks were broken so it looked untidy. The pillows were filled with small pieces of rubber and not at all comfortable. More could have been made of the outside space at the back. It was a bit bleak.

Pros: i was promptly upgraded to Hotel Central (next door). thanks so much!!!

Pros: The bedroom had a very simple furniture a bit outdated but well maintained but the rate charged for the bedroom was very affordable, good cleaness, nice breakfast for the price and the staff is very helpful and kind.

Cons: Unfortunately the smoke and smell from cigarette which I couldn't find out exactly from which bedroom was coming from.

Pros: Best location in the center. Big rooms - at night a bit noisy, but normal for the center - nevertheless we slept gorgious. Everything was very clean but bathroom could need an update (as a matter of fact the only deficit). Breakfast was much more than we've expected for this price! Good coffee/hot chocolate and additional fruits! Very nice and helpfull staff ♡
