Very nice stay at decent value, central hotel.

Pros: Great, central location. Comfortable bed / bedroom with balcony. Friendly / helpful staff and 24 hour reception. Great value.

Cons: Breakfast was quite mundane. Diluted / tasteless orange juice. Only one cereal / muesli. No eggs. Noisy residents late at night / some nights (but not the fault of the hotel if fellow-residents don’t know how to behave).

Take Euro 2.60 bus publico from Funchal airport.Stops close to the hotel.Porto Moniz also Euro 2.60

Pros: Perfect location.Supermarket opened until 21:30 few steps,beach walk,mercado dos lavradores.Safe area in night.Ladies at reception helpful,breakfast same every day but good.Nice rooftop with chairs,beds.

all good! for the price i really recommend this place!

Pros: Small cozy hotel in the city center of Funchal, close to shops, restaurants and coast. Very nice and kind personnel. Nice terrace on the top of the building open to all guests. Room was cozy and clean.

Cons: Quite poor breakfast but for this price i was surprised to have a free breakfast at all :) so i was happy to start my day with a coffee and yogurt. Difficult to find parking spot in closest area.

Great stay during Christmas time in Center Funchal location

Pros: Perfect location close to everything, just cant be better . Breakfast very simple. Could add some fruits and boiled / fried eggs . But all at all breakfast was good , better than nothing. Great very helpful staff . Great stay

Pros: Great location, great staff, good value for money . Hotel in the Center of Funchal but on the small cosy street hidden from main traffic

Cons: It will be nice to have a small kettle in the room in winter

Nice hotel only a few minutes walk from Cathedral and Funchal promenade

Pros: The room was ok, clean and comfortable, with a work desk and a liitle balcony. Great hotel restaurant Sirius with a very tasty traditional Portuguese\

Cons: The coffee at the breakfast tasted like an instant coffee.

Great value for the money in the center of Funchal

Pros: Great value for the price, especially for solo travellers. The hotel is centrally located, close to the historic center. There is also a lovely terrace on the rooftop. The breakfast is very basic but it was a nice bonus.

Cons: The rooms are a bit old

For a 2 star hotel in the middle of Funchal it was ideal for a 1 night visit. Will use again.

Pros: The roof top terrace and the overall appearence of the hotel with original features (like the marble walls and parquet floors) and furniture in the room all butifully made, matching and original (and solid wood). The room was big enough, the bathroom was also spacious, the shower was hot and the balcony was great.

Cons: There was ash on the balcony floor which was picked up on our shoes and trod into the room. The room was a bit hot but the hotel provided a fan which helped. We placed it in front of the windows louvre and it sucked in cold air into the room so that by the time we went to bed it was OK.
