Inn & Art Madeira

Excellent

Pros: We spent our first night in Madeira at Inn&Art Madeira and it was a wonderful experience from the very beginning. We were welcomed by their extremely kind staff, and a special appreciation goes to Maria, who offered us such an amazing and heartfelt reception. She truly made us feel at home. The location is extraordinary, right by the ocean, with stunning views that made our stay unforgettable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner on-site and were lucky to witness a beautiful sunrise over the ocean the next morning. The food was great, and the breakfast was also very enjoyable. Overall, a lovely place with warm people and an atmosphere that stays with you. We really appreciated our stay and would happily return!

Great place to discover central island.

Pros: Location right by the cliff, good highway access. \

Cons: Humidity needed controlling (it's manageable and towels are replaced daily). Some rooms without direct ocean view have the windows facing to the walkpath to the restaurant (so reduced privacy if windows aren't covered).

Pros: The hotel was comfortably, tastefully and cleverly furnished. Each room had its own entrance and outside sitting area. Great restaurant in the evening and plentiful breakfast. Relatively close to the airport but unaffected by plane noise.

Cons: Parking is on the public road outside - quite cheap but no guarantee of a space nearby.

Pros: The view is amazing, the staff is very nice and professional, the rooms are great and cozy and the food is really good.

Top class staff

Pros: Staff were amazing, I was very sick on my last day and all staff was caring and helpful. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was good and a large selection to eat. Bedroom cleaned everyday. Would definitely stay again***

Pros: Location. Restaurant (food). Stunning view. Staff (friendly and accomodating).

Cons: Toilet paper cannot be thrown into the WC. While staff cleaned the room (and restroom) daily, and while we understand that this is due to not clogging the pipes, it is not an ideal scenario.

Cosy accommodation with spectacular sea views

Pros: Nice continental buffet breakfast with eggs that could be ordered from the staff at no additional cost. Beautiful view from the terrace and a partial sea view from the room. The room was comfortable and clean. A very thoughtful gesture was a bottle of complimentary wine that could be collected at the restaurant to be enjoyed from the room's terrace. The staff was very welcoming. I would definitely come again.

Cons: Paid street parking is sometimes a challenge and full, but this is not really something the hotel can change.

Pros: Amazing view we loved having breakfast watching the view. We got free tickets from the reception and used the next door hotel pool and access to the sea which was fabulous

Cons: We liked everything but it would be great to have a kettle in the room

Beautiful ocean views, close to Funchal and other major destinations

Pros: The hotel totally wins with its breathtaking ocean views. Its a small hotel with 7-8 rooms and a restaurant. The restaurant is very nice and really good, though a bit on the expensive side for Madeira standards (order the grilled catch of the day!) but worth it! Rooms are spacious and nice Beds really comfy Great breakfast spread with freshly made eggs Second big selling point is the staff: everyone is so nice, goes out of their way to help you/ accommodate your wishes, etc

Cons: The rooms could use a few upgrades The hotel really would be 9-10 stars if it had a pool.
